Visiting on route to New Mexico
Overall, a very nice traveling experience. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The room was nice and the bed was clean and comfortable. Someone had turned on the air conditioning just before we checked in and it was already coolly comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Two negatives: the hotel was undergoing roof work and while it was a minimum of discomfort to us, there was some hammering early in the day and their were some loose roofing nails on the sidewalk. The other negative was the indoor pool is very small.

Our stay at the super 8
The hotel is very nice. However when my daughter in law and I need help from the front desk they were NO help at all. She was having a bad allergic attack and when I tried to dial the front desk all I got was a recording. The final choice was "to speak to the operator press 0". When I pressed 0 I would just get the same recording. While my daughter in laws eyes were swelling shut andhaving an asthma attack I did this 3 times until I finally dialed 9-911 and talked to them and they sent an emergency unit who then decided yo take her to the local hospital. AFTER I called someone from downstairs came knocking on the door to ask "is everything alright?"

Unbeatable location for the price
I stayed here while visiting my husband at Fort Leonard Wood. The staff here were so pleasant and eager to make my stay the same. Would definitely stay here again.

Worth the price!
The staff at the hotel was very polite, letting us take a high chair to our room for the weekend and finding us the number for a delicious Chinese take out place. A few days before our trip I called and requested a room with a fridge and microwave and we received one when we checked in. The pool was very nice, warm enough for our 2 young children. There was no hot tub though, which was kind of a disappointment. The continental breakfast was good, biscuits and gravy along with all of the normal stuff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any family visiting the Rolla area looking for a reasonably priced hotel!

Great hotel for price
I was in town visiting my fiance who is a Marine stationed at Fort Leonard Wood. We were looking for a room near base but was close to other places. I was slightly disappointed when I found out the hotel was over 20 minutes away from base. I was under the impression it was closer, but honestly 20 minutes was not a deal breaker. Kind of strange, breakfast only went until 9am (most places is 10 I'd say from past experiences). Pool was nice but very small. Also, there was no hot tub :( The room was very clean and provided everything necessary for our stay. Staff was helpful and gave us directions to places when needed it!

Short drive from hotel
St. Louis was about an 1 1/2 hours away (which may seem like a lot but it's not). It was great that it was so close because Rolla has nothing, and I mean NOTHING, to do from what we could see.

Decent Stay
The desk staff was very friendly. We didn't spend much time in the room during our trip, but the time we did was only mediocre. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. My back still aches... For some reason housekeeping didn't come into our room between nights, so our bed was never made and we didn't get any fresh towels. Both nights we stayed we heard what sounded like a herd of cattle running across the ceiling; there wasn't much sound filtering between the floors. The best way to describe our experience was that it served it's purpose to give us some where to sleep, but not much more.

A school retreat
The beds were comfortable, bathroom clean and staff was friendly and helpful when approached. The pool was down for repairs, once it was up the chlorine levels were so hight that it made our 10 year old have a cough, also noticed other children at breakfast coughing that were in the pool as well. Three calls to the front desk for kids running up and down hall ways and stairs it finally stopped about 11:30 PM.
