Very stuffy.
After I arrived in the room, I quickly acquired a headache and stuffiness due to the strong stuffiness and apparent smell of mold and tobacco. Had to run the bathroom fan and AC unit all night in order to stay in the room. Tub faucets had to be carefully turned when trying to shut them off. Dresser and desk furniture should be repaired or replaced.

Bed Bugs
Stayed at this hotel in rooms 231 and 233. May 15-21st 2011. Had bed bug bites from both rooms. On my arms and feet, and my face. Never never ever stay at this hotel, It's worth a $100 more to stay somewhere else. I will never go back, EVER!

Never offer this motel again!!!
We even phoned the motel the night before to confirm the non-smoking room. When we arrived 10 minutes after check-in time, the male owner said there were construction workers so he was totally full except for the 2nd floor room. He didn't mention it was smoking and sandwiched between "[...] noisy" construction workers. Our ages are 71 and 72 and we had to walk our bags upstairs to an area exterior to the room that was under construction. Lamp shades were stained; bathroom walls had to be cleaned by us; smell of smoke prevailed. The swimming pool's bottom had been repaired so many times that the lateral bottom was 3 ft. and the middle of 3 ft. was 5 ft. in depth. This was the worse motel I've stayed in for even lobby cleanliness in 25 years.

Rustic is right
A simple nice place to sleep. About 8 blocks from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Just what I wanted
