Review of my stay
I needed a place to stay for one night so I could go caving for a class in college. I am the average college student who can't afford much. I went to orbitz.com and picked out the cheapest hotel I could find in the Osage Beach area. I found the hotel with no problem, check in took less than 5min. I walked into my room and could smell that old hotel smell, but once I was in the room for a few minutes I no longer noticed it. There wasn't anything special about the room, it had all I needed, a bed and a bathroom. It had a small table and a couple old chairs along with a dresser and an old tv that had cable. There wasn't any breakfast offered but the lady at the front desk did have coffee for her guests and was happy to recommend somewhere to eat at. Check out went fast, handed her the key and took off. I'd stay here again if I needed to but if my fiance was with me I would find a nicer hotel.

Old, but clean
Hotel was cheap and close to the activities in Osage Beach. It was an old place, not beautiful, but the room was very clean. Right next door to a good go-cart track and mimi-golf.

Went to Osage Beach Outlet Mall - what a waste of time! There are no good deals to be found there.

Best thing about Scottish Inn is Lois!
The Scottish Inn was okay as far as the amenities, but Lois was the best host at the hotel.

The outlet stores were great - you could spend an entire day and still not see all the stores!

Good stay for the price
Great location, near everything. Clean room, but very worn. Blanket had worn-thin spots, some stains on bath linen, etc. Tight parking, especially when others staying there have boats/trailers.

Good Basic Room To Sleep In
Just wanted a inexpensive place to sleep, watch TV and clean up. This was it. Pretty Basic! Nothing fancy. Close to Dam, Dinning and Shopping Mall.

scottish inns
we payed $10.00 more per night than the others did 2 doors away from us. they did not reserve thru orbitz as we did. other than that, we had a great stay.

The good, the bad and the ugly
We were very disappointed when we got to the room. Yes it was a queen size bed but very lumpy. The room smelt musty and was a 2 bed room with one removed, which was very strange. The tv was only a 19 inch and from the bed you had to squint to see it. We were not close to any thing that was listed unless you consider 2-3 miles as being close.The shower lost pressure quite often and that did not make us happy either. We would not stay there again nor recommend it to any one. Our whole family comes here often to see other family that lives here and this hotel will be off our list of places to stay.

Decent hotel
For the price, this hotel was good. I had a problem accessing my HBO initially because a previous customer and locked the TV and a passwork was needed. The outside of the hotal looked a little run down but the inside was very clean and the front desk clerk was very nice and assisted me with my TV issue without any problems.

The hotel is on the main road in the Ozarks and so there is plenty of food and shopping. THe outlet mall is just a short drive from the hotel.
