Never Again

I arrived to find the front desk empty. Only to stand there 10 min before the attendant burst in to tell me how cold it was outside. After checking in, I found that the attendant had to go and open the door for me because of a trick to getting the key to work!!!! REALLY!! Twin size beds met my arrival......This is not the reservation I ordered. She told me, "Oh well this is all I have." I was told that I would have to call Orbitz and take it up with them. After 25 min, she 'found' a room that would suit me. Again the key didn't work at the new room. UGH!!!! The room smelled of nasty stale smoke.......................etc!!! NEVE AGAIN WILL I STAY HERE!!!

Great value for the $$

Spent the extra few dollars to get one of the Signature Suites which had new bedding, wood floors in the kitchen and bathroom, and updated decor. Room was perfectly clean, comfortable, and smelled great -- I have asthma and am allergic to cigarette smoke & had no problems. The staff went above and beyond & made my stay a great one. I didn't realize check-in was at 3 and they didn't have my room available because I was so early. I explained I had a wedding to get to and asked if there was anything they could do. The manager checked all the Signature Suites and found me one that was cleaned, they let me check in early, and I made it to my event freshened up and on time. Staff was always pleasant and eager to help. I cannot thank them enough for getting me into my room early. This room was an excellent value and just a short drive into downtown St. Louis. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to save money and still have a great place to rest at night.

Adequate accommodations

The room was a little small from what I expected based on the pictures provided at booking, but it was clean and nice. I was a little worried about our security as we were on the bottom floor and the entrance to each room is external (motel style) rather than internal. Also, the hotel uses older key models with holes that are not as secure as the new technology available nor are they as reliable. When we had issues getting into the room, the Lobby was closed for the night. Other than that, the room itself was adequate especially for the price.

Not terrible, not great

Only the bare bone necessities, slightly dirty but not disgusting, cigarette burn hole in mattress, cigarette burn marks on bathroom counter. Noise from other guests easily traveled through the door/exterior walls.

Couples in St. Louis

Our air conditioner didn't work. The bed had a pit in the middle of it and the foot end was higher than the head end. Our friends key didn't work to their room when we returned from a night out on the town. Once we finally got help the night lady stated that if they left their room she would not come back to let them in. Our other friends room smelled like a dead mouse. I guess for the price it was ok but I would never stay there again or recommend it. No ice machines.

This hotel was not clean!

The hotel rooms were not close together even after calling the hotel directly, and requesting it. The rooms were not clean. The toliets did not flush correctly in two of the rooms. The key did not work in one of the rooms, and the staff would not replace the keys until the next morning. We had to leave the door ajar when going in and out of the room for the 1st night. I have managed hotels for over 20 years, and was VERY dissapointed.

Nice temporary living accomodations

Location was convenient to where I work and rates were very reasonable. Management and hotel staff were courtious.
