Comfortable accommodations

Very nice hotel on the lake for families. Great restaurant. Beautiful pools. Comfortable room. Unfortunately our room had a musty, moldy smell. The weather was very hot & humid. Also had a sewer smell in the bathroom. We just kept the door shut most of the time.

Ok Place to stay

We have driven past this place many times in the past and finally decided to try it out. It was probably a REALLY nice place years ago, but we found it to be just average. The room was clean and quiet but no view to speak of. The Pool area was nice and not crowded. The grounds could have used some help, weeding, etc. to make it nicer. Overall, not bad for the price.

Great Family Vacation!!!

We had a great stay at this resort. We were the first ones to use the outdoor pools and new pool furniture. Our kids had a great time and they ate for free in the restaurant. The only thing we didn't care for was the staff were busy painting and power washing the sidewalks while we were there. The manager explained they were behind schedule for their spring clean-up due to cold and rainy weather this spring. We totally understood being from St. Louis we experienced the same weather. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and this looks like a great place to stay in the summer with two outdoor pools. They have rooms that are right next to the pools and close to the restaurant. The other thing we found unique was the miniature golf course they have which is also free. All in all the staff is very friendly offered several suggestions of things to do for free and even recommended another restaurant in town to eat at that had great pizza.

Horribly Outdated

We left the Resort at Port Arrowhead thoroughly disappointing. The term "resort" should be withheld from their name as the shambles this place was left in resemble a 1970's motel. We suffered through musty linens, poor water pressure in the shower with either burning hot or ice cold water, an odd smelling wall heating unit and an unenthusiastic staff. We purchased scented candles at a local store to make our stay more positive. Spend the money and upgrade to a real resort or just stay out of Osage Beach altogether.

Run down resort

It was a dissapointing stay at The Port. The beds were a joke, sinking in the center a half foot-no joke! The ac was super noisy and sounded like it was about to explode. Blankets were too small for bed and the front desk had no extra blankets. There are no veiws of the lake here on property, maybe some rooms, but not at pool or walking around. The place felt dirty, outdated, in disrepair everywhere you looked. No elevators so we had to drag luggage up 4 flights of open concrete stairs. Walls are NOT sound proof-so you can here EVERYTHING. This is one thing the noisy ac came in handy for, blocking out strange sounds:((((Unless you plan on staying drunk at the pool, dont go here. Nothing is very nice.

Family getaway

My family and i had a great time at this resort. The room was comfortable and next to both pools. My kids really enjoyed the movie outside at the pool. The indoor pool with jacuzzi was great for me. The resort was close enough to all the places we visited. The only drawback would be not alot of cable channels but thats not really a deal breaker for me. Overall great stay and would definitely stay again!

Different experience

The location is awesome, just right by the river. However, the amenities and cleanliness of the room is not as good as I thought it would be.

hairs in the bath, smells tons of bleach, and room next o the parking lot

first of all, i never expect my stay next to the parking lot. I had to curtain the windows all the time, otherwise it would be awkard to see people coming and seeing through my room. awful bleach smell. too much! it hurts my eye and stings my nose. despite the bleach smell, its very easy to catch someon's hairs in the bath. dirty!!! I never going to stay here again!
