Super 8 Kirksville

Overall, this is a very good value. The room was clean and had a nice fridge and a strong wireless internet signal. The only negative I found was that there was more noise from the hallway and stairwell than I expected but it wasn't terrible.

We found the staff to be "too busy" to take care of customers. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke and the night help made so much noise through out the night that we did not get a good night sleep.

While there for a funeral we stayed at the Super 8 for the night. We had a non-smoking room, which was actually non-smoking, but the entire hotel smelt like smoke and as soon as you walked out of the room you were overwhelmed by it. The room was pretty clean and they had a nice little breakfast counter if you could get over the smell of smoke. While there, daylight savings time went into effect and since we never experience that we missed our checkout time. The office lady was really nice about it and didn't charge us for the additional time. When we went to checkout though we were given a bill...when looking at the bill we noticed it was for room charges, even though we paid online, and it was charging them to someone elses credit card. It was kinda scary and we are keeping a very close eye on our card. :) Overall we would stay there again if passing through, just make sure to hold your breath until you get into your room.

I stayed at this location with my daughter for a college visit. The staff was very friendly and informed about the city and colleges. We were even given a map of the city. The room was clean and neat with wireless internet and many choices for breakfast.

my travel plans caused me to arrive at 3am, then leave again at 7:15am, so my experience was short. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was nice. Other than no iron in my room, it was exactly what I needed from a place to sleep for 3 hours.

The staff was attentive and helpful and friendly. The rooms clean and showed attention to detail. The breakfast was so,so but it was something. Would use the place again.

My stay was a deer hunting trip. I had no problems with anything on my trip.

It was a nice hotel for one night for the low price. I will stay there again if I come back thru there.

We stayed here when we went up to move our son into a dorm at Truman State. It was inexpensive and close to campus. It is not fancy at all, but was clean and had all we needed. The breakfast was nothing great, but was all we needed for a quick bite to eat. It wouldn't be a place to hang out at, but we got a good night's sleep there.

The room was clean and the location was convenient to town. The big drawback was the noise of slamming doors early in the morning. The doors are heavy and automatically slam...unless you make an effort to close them quietly. We were awakened at 5 am by doors slamming...not too restful. Also, don't expect much out of the breakfast...cereal, toast and some old donuts, juice and coffee. Try Rosie's Restaurant down the road for a great breakfast or lunch.
