horrible

This hotel was one of the worst I've ever stayed in. We were in town for 2 days and our room was never cleaned nor did we get clean towels. The tv remote was so dirty that we actually had to use hand sanitizer to clean it.

poor experience

We arrived very late on a weekday night. The hotel was very dark and hard to find. The hotel's appearance was less than desirable. Only the back hall elevators worked at the time. We got to our room and the shower was clogged. Due to the curtain rod falling off the wall, the shower curtain would not stay closed and, therefore, water would spill onto the bathroom floor. This place needs some TLC.

Located more towards the industrial

Located more towards the industrial side of town. Might be a good location for travelling businessmen. Hotel currently under renovation. Nice large rooms and comfortable beds. Can't beat the price.

ok

Hotel needed to be updated. The landscaping was in horrible condition. It looked like they just threw their leftover construction supplies and broken furniture out the back door where the dining area looked out over the lake.

Disappointed in Kansas City

some problems

Disappointed. We had three rooms to accommodate two other couples for two nights. The rooms were good when we arrived however the next day not all of the rooms were cleaned. One of the rooms they just made the bed and took the towels. They did not even bring clean towels back, we did call but no towels were brought up. The coffee pots were just left and when we asked for coffee to replace the packet used (in each room). They said they would and then did not not, When I called again for coffee packets to use in the room coffee pots, we were told they were out, we had to leave very early and wanted the coffee in the morning.

KC Weekend

This hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was too cold to get in for more than 5 minutes, but it was January, so what did I expect? :) The location was actually really nice, just 5 minutes from downtown.

a bargin?

We were in KC for a Chief's game - hotel was close to stadium and close to Isle of Capri Casino - but that is all it had to offer. I think they were in the middle of a remodel since there were several rooms that were closed - but fitness room was terrible - most of the machines were out of order and only two of the light fixtures in the room worked, the breakfast was AWEFUL - milk was sour, no orange juice EITHER morning (even after asking for more), and our room did not get cleaned (we were there 2 nights - room was not cleaned/made)

Birthday fun

The hotel obviously just changed ownership and there was construction and renovation going on everywhere. The elevators needed repair and at one time we had to carry 2 coolers up 6 flights. Overall our stay was not bad. I would stay again.

Dining tip: In Hotel

They had a descent continental breakfast if you are patient. The first day we had breakfast it was VERY busy and only 2 employees covering. The following day was much smoother.
