Budget-friendly and family-friendly airport hotel
Clean lines and comfortable no-nonsense furnishings create a pleasing environment, proving that budget hotels can be stylish, and the level of in-room facilities exceeds the usual two-star expectations. Easy to find at the intersections of Interstates 29 and 435, and close to major shopping areas, the hotel is not just for travelers headed for the airport. Worlds of Fun, Kansas City Motor Speedway, and the American Jazz Museum are a short drive away. Use of PC with high-speed Internet in lobby is free, as is high-speed wireless throughout the hotel.

Hotel stay.
It was fair for the price I was willing to pay and since I am not familiar with the area I wanted something close to the airport with may conveniences of simple access.

College Graduation Weekend
The location was great, extremely convenient to KCI, Park University, and Independence, MO. The rates were extremely reasonable. The room and hotel in general were very clean. In room coffee maker would have been nice, no complimentary lotion in room. Only one bar of soap when we checked in. But if you asked would I stay there again, I would say "Yes" without hesitation.

Good Deal for Airport Proximity
Staff was friendly, room was small and clean and it was very affordable and close to the Kansas City Airport. I would stay here again. Nice little breakfast was included too.

Clean room. But there were problems
Room was very nice, neat and clean. Our issues were once checked in the bathroom door didn't lock and with 2 couples in room that was issue. We called down to desk and they had noone to fix that evening and no other rooms. Then we decide we would just have to deal with that. Then took a shower and the handheld shower hose sprayed out side over shower Curtin and the handheld would only point at floor. I then had to run to store and buy some basic hand tools so I could repair the shower head( only a loose mounting screw) and then repaired bathroom lock.

Microtel Inn and Suites KCMO
I always enjoy my stay at this hotel. The rooms are ample, the beds are comfy, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The last two times I've been there, they've had problems with their Internet, printer, or other work center equipment. Nice little breakfast in the morning and coffee available 24/7 so overall a good value for an extended stay.
