First stop: Kansas City
I must say that the location of this hotel is excellent if you want to enjoy tha ammenities of the Light & Power District or the convenience for a meeting at the Convention Center. I discover the excitement of a great weekend getting around those small restaurants and bars of the Light & Power District with a great, high-end and well designed cinema on Main St. and 14th. In this trip the hotel wasn't a hassle.

Don't waste your hard earned money....
The downtown Marriott is a dump! Their staff is slow, unresponsive, and they overbook their rooms. When they finally brought up a roll away bed it was stained. They also forgot to add toilet paper in our bathroom and never brought up a fresh roll when we asked. Their idea of compensating us for their poor service was free breakfast at their equally bad restaurant. Spend your money elsewhere.

The hotel was easy to access from the Highway and near Power and Light. Also, close to where my daughter lives. Really enjoyed seeing the Denver Bronco players in the morning exiting the hotel. Boy, those guys are big! Staff very friendly and helpful. Anyone we asked for help stopped and answered with a smile, even the garage staff.

Decent room for the price but......
Rooms were nice inside, however, the noises from surrounding rooms crept in rather easily. Valet service was prompt. Location was excellent.

Over night stay for meeting
The bed was lummpy and some of the things you always find in a hotel were missing, like glasses and the room itself was not as nice as I would expect from a marriot Hotel. The staff was friendly enough.
