Great place to stay
This is a wonderful hotel great service we needed to drop off our rental car the night before the staff sent over a shuttle to bring us back to the hotel. They also have a shuttle to the airport with informed drivers. After coming from a very dirty hotel in Lawrence KS this was heaven!

Very nice restaurant-bar open till 1:00 a.m., kitchen open about that time with full menu available for room service. Great alternative!

Chose this hotel because I had a very early morning flight and it's a 10 min ride to the terminal. Stayed one night. Staff (front desk, restaurant servers, airport shuttle driver) was very friendly. Room was small but fine, clean and comfy. No wifi (?!) - in-room internet access required a laptop to plug in, or you could use a computer in the biz ctr for a fee. (No fee to print boarding passes, at least.) Food in the bar & grill was adequate. Breakfast was not included in the room rate.

Great Hotel Price!!
After flying back from Iceland, to JFK Airport, then to Kansas City, I was extremely exhausted. Upon arrival at the Marriot airport Hotel I was very pleased with staff on how prompt & courteous they were. My room was super clean as expected with a hotel chain as this, and slept through for 15 hours. Great price!....And good job [...]!DavidModesto, CA

Good Deal
The hotel allows visitors to park in their lot and take their shuttle to the airport and save the cost of parking fees while on their trip. They pick you up when you return and return you to your car. Makes the cost of room seems more reasonable.

Corporate hotel with a personal touch
Stayed one night to attend afternoon meeting and found the refurbished hotel a pleasure. Better than that, the staff is extremely accomodating. After spilling red wine on a white business shirt, they asked to take it (after returning to my room) to attempt to clean it. It came back cleaned pressed and perfect. The food in the restaurant is as good as any Marriott in which I've stayed and my Marriott account has almost 300K points.

Gracious welcome to KC!
We arrived at 10PM with our grandchildren in tow. They had hoped to swim before they drove back to Topeka. The pool was closed, but the hotel staff upgraded our room to a corner suite with a beautiful view of the lake and gave the children books to enjoy while they visited with us. It made our last few hours delightful.

In Hotel
If you have rented a car, turn it in the night before, as the hotel provides a shuttle to the airport. The rental return is very close to the hotel. We could have saved scraping ice from our rental car the morning of departure.
