Couples Weekend

The staff at the hotel are extremely kind and accommodating. Location is fabulous - close to river with gondolas, restaurants, and shopping. Room was clean but starting to show some wear. The television is positioned to the side instead of in front of the bed - making it awkward to watch. All in all a positive experience. Don't book through Priceline though.

Great Plaza Hotel

From check-in to checkout, everything was first class. The hotel is beautiful and just a short walk across the bridge to the Plaza area. Only regret was that we could only stay one night.

Thanksgiving at Plaza Intercontinental

Bell service was excellent. Food was fair but overpriced. Organization at registration desk questionable. Hotel was not up to Intercontinental standards of excellence. Room size not up to standards expected at an Intercontinental hotel. Will not stay at this location again.

No food means no good

We really liked the hotel itself, but upon inquiring at the restaurant downstairs for a table, we were told that there would be no food service anywhere in the hotel until 5pm that evening - some problem in the kitchen. This is simply unacceptable. There needs to be a plan in place to provide at least room service or a poolside sandwich for a hotel this expensive.

Nice, clean lots of amenities for guests

The Intercontinental Hotel in Kansas city on the Plaza, was nice and clean with a nice pool area, lounge and very adequate rooms. However, check in time was 3P.M. we were there at 3:15 P.M. and did not get a room until 4:30 P.M.. I really did not like that, we were tired and had tickets for the ball game that night so we had to do some rushing around to make it on time.
