Holiday Inn KANSAS CITY-NE-I-435 NORTH

Staff was friendly. Room was clean with good security. Location is close to the highway and close to World/Oceans of Fun Parks. We just stayed overnight on a quick trip to K.C. but would consider staying here again the next time we visit.

Had a fine time. Pool area, friendly staff and the value were great. Had fridge/micro in room. Kids ate breakfast free and had coupons for adults. Room was clean. Complaints: bar and restaurant only open until 10pm on a Saturday night; pool didn't open until 9am; beds were small (doubles, not queens). Overall, I would stay here again.

Great stay at a very good price. Will will stay there again next month and use Orbitz Awesome pool and jacuzzi . Room service and restaurant . Close to everything. Staff couldn't have been nicer.

The staff was very friendly, and answered all my questions. They provided a free crib for my son, and gave good directions to the surrounding area. However, the crib, the rooms, and the hotel in general seemed old and a little run down. I definitely feel like I overspent on this hotel. Also, be aware that there is no free breakfast and that food here is expensive.

Pros: Complimentary shuttle til 11pm to oceans/worlds of fun, Harrahs and Ameristar casinos. Nice pool and bar. Cons: Rooms facing pool very noisy, small room with no closet, bathroom smelly with limited hot water. Pillows very uncomfortable.

Location was great since it was close to Worlds of Fun. The room wasn't too bad except the light in the bathroom didn't work and the AC was loud. The pool area closes RIGHT at ten. We couldn't stay even stay by the tables. The room looked clean and staff was friendly. Would be better if breakfast was free.

This hotel was OK. There was no free breakfast. The hotel restaurant let kids eat free breakfast with a paid adult. This was good but the adult breakfast was not great. The "warm" food was cold. The air conditioner made terrible noises that made it hard to sleep. My though is that this may be an OK hotel but I got a bad room. Their are other hotels near Worlds of Fun that I have staid in, some were worse and some were better.

This hotel was overall an enjoyable stay. My only complaint is that I reserved and paid for two double bed adjacent rooms a full month in advance and when we arrived after a long day at Worlds of Fun our rooms were not ready. They had a king bed room and one double bed room not even on the same floor waiting for us. I told them that would not work and had to wait about 10-15 minutes for them to re-arrange rooms to get us our 2 double beds on the same floor, but we still did not get adjacent rooms. Other than that it's a great hotel for the price, the rooms were clean and quiet, and the bar was great and friendly. I will stay there again should we end up going back to Worlds/Oceans of Fun.
