This is a great Holiday Inn. This was our 2nd stay here. They could not give us a smoking room which we requested so they upgraded our room so I could be right next to a door. Great service!

Great for what we needed!
Very friendly desk clerk upon arrival. She even googled & map quested a local restaurant for us. Fresh baked cookies in the lobby! Room was very neat & clean. Just couldn't find any kleenex anywhere in the room/bathroom.

Nice part of town
We were there to go to Worlds of Fun. This was easy to find and in a very nice part of town. There were several different places to eat and shop if you wanted to. The breakfast room get to be very crowded at times but the food was great. The pool was clean but small.

Frugal Vacationer!
Good Family respite!!! Felt very at home
We stayed for 4 nights. The breakfast was good, hot and plentiful. The pool was indoors and easily located but small. The rooms were small but very clean. The beds were very sof with lots of pillows and the bedding was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The air conditioner was a little dirty though and needed to be vacuumed and cleaned out but cooled the room nicely. no weird odors in the rooms, and the bathroom was very clean. One problem we had was the security of the outer doors. They were unlocked most of the stay, and the parking lot was small and difficult to navigate when filled. We went through Orbitz, and got a great deal on the room and brought our children with us. we enjoyed our stay there very much and will stay there again on our trips to Northeast Kansas City, Missouri.

a great place to stay
This hotel was great. Very clean rooms, flat screen TV, free coffee at the front desk. Free WiFi and cookie time too!

Noisy doors
Hotel is located in a strip mall area. It was clean and had a small pool and miniscule fitness room(no weights, just a few cardio machines. At first we were happy with the nice beds, but at 6am somebody left their room and the door swings shut automatically- and it slams and vibrates the whole floor. I guess thAt woke up a lot of people so every 4-5 minutes after that another door would slam. Next night, we were all prepared with ear plugs and 2 white noise machines- but it didn't help, it couldn't hide the building vibrating from each slam. I guess once people get woken up by a slamming door they get grumpy and decide to be inconsiderate to everyone else. Atleast 12 slams every morning.
