Good Choice
This hotel is in a great location in a very cool city. We got randomly placed in a handicapped room, so admittedly had more room than our friends down the hall but everything was clean. My only very minor complaint was that they didn't have anyone on staff to shine a pair of shoes which surprised me.

Stay away from Savoy! The worst dinner for money spent I've ever had in my life. The service was terrible, the food was bland and it smelled like a nursing home full of fish.

KC - Anniversary Celebration
Hilton President - Kansas City (POOR)
Treated me poorly [...] They did not return the several messages I left with the front desk management, and screwed up with my initial check in. THey were clearly against 3rd party reservations :-(

service was good. Parking a bit pricey...18.00, 20.00 for valet. Room was clean, beds very small. I would expect a 4 star to have queens, not doubles. Staff very friendly

It was just what we wanted.
We were there to go to the Bill Cosby show, and the hotel was within walking distance. The desk clerk was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Unacceptable and unprofessional
First we found a used condom wrapper and used pieces of gum in the drawer. The front desk didn't even attempt to apologize or help us with the issue and the housekeeper is the actual person who helped us change rooms and had to help us. When we checked out we were informed there was only an eighteen dollar charge for valet yet I returned with an extra fifty-eight and ten dollar charges from the hotel. The front desk was unable to provide a reason for the charges. Worst hotel I have ever spent my hard earned 216 dollars on. Negative stars.

Great Service Even Better Location
The location is perfect for visiting the Power and Light District. Valet is worth the $2 more for your stay. The rooms were very clean and service was excellent. I would recommend paying a bit more a night to guarantee I would be getting a great experience.

The Hilton was spot on
The location of the hotel was amazing. Being able to walk to everything in the Power and Light in 5 minutes was great. The hotel itslef had everything one needed and the staff was perfect.

A bit pricey, but worth it for location!
Recently visited Kansas City on a weekend getaway. The Hilton President was a perfect choice for our intentions. We arrived late on a Friday evening and was greeted with superior service upon our arrival. The Vallets were incredible and second to none. I recomend asking for Kevin as he answered all of our questions and informed us of some places we may want to check out. This hotel is in the middle of downtown and perfect location. We experienced the night life in the Power and Light district (1/2 a block away) and walked to the Crowne Center and Union Station. (1 mile away). The rooms were clean as in every Hilton we have ever stayed in. My only complaint was the price for Breakfast. We had the breakfast buffet one morning and I felt it was about twice as expensive as walking down the block to something else. I would definately encourage Kansas City visitors to try this hotel.

All kinds of restaurants within a few blocks. Only 1/2 a block from Power and Light nightlife. Word to the Wise, stop by Howl at the Moon, its unforgettable.
