Good value, large rooms, and plenty of extras in a preferred location
Hampton Inn & Suites Kansas City Country Club Plaza, located in the heart of Kansas City’s premier shopping and entertainment district, offers 203 generously sized guest rooms and 45 suites with full kitchens. Free breakfast and Internet, large swimming pool and sun deck, and value pricing make it popular with families. Proximity to the more than 150 shopping, dining, and entertainment spots at Country Club Plaza is a big attraction, as are two excellent art museums within a short walk.

Guest rooms, exceptionally large for a two-star hotel, have either one king bed or two double beds, desks, comfortable easy chairs, a large flat-screen television, and two-line phones with data ports and voicemail. Shopping Trip

We stayed at Hampton Inn at Country Club Plaza while shopping at Kansas City. The overall experience was good. Our check in went smooth, parking was good. The room was sizeable and clean. The bathroom was good. The continental breakfast was above average and departure went smooth. Will stay again sometime.

Nice hotel

Hotel is right off the plaza, just down a small hill and you are on the plaza. Near all downtown attractions. Hotel was very nice and clean, everything seemed new. Breakfast was a good variety, but some of the "hot" items were just barely warm. One other minor complaint was that you could hear everyone's toilet flushing as the toilets were very loud when they flushed. All and all a great stay. We would stay again.

So So

Nothing special about the place. Had to call maintence 3 times to get a working TV remote, when we checked out it wasn't working again. Pretty high priced for what you got.

Fantastic Weekend Getaway

Weekend get-away in KC

Easy check in - very friendly & courteous staff. Excellent breakfast included - great indoor pool.Extended checkout without hassle. Visited with family living nearby - enjoyed visiting historic locations in city. Would rate our experience top-notch, even though short.

Approximately 2 -3 block walk to up-scale shopping &dining area, with many choices of resturants & varity of menu - from moderate to expensive prices. Enjoyable area just to stroll thru & window shop.

nice family spot in plaza

staff was very helpful, made experience for my 2 and 3 year old girls a blast, they wanted to stay in hotel all the time! loved the pool, stainless steel interesting, a little slippery but okay once you got used to it. nice sun deck. breakfast was perfect. evening snack/bar a nice touch too! a bit of a hike back up the hill if you're walking around plaza, but do-able, just be prepared.
