Great Hotel Close to KC Airport
Great service with comfortable rooms. The restaurant/bar is large with televisions to watch a game. The food was good. The best part of this lounge is that you get to try Kansas City's local brewing company beer (boulevard). Its great that you can leave your car and get a shuttle from the hotel to and from the airport. We stay here the night before we go on any vacations that require air travel. We will be back soon.

The hotel shutle service isGREAT, we had a 5:30am flight out of MCI,and our return flight at 12:10am. Called and shuttle was ready to pick us up----only 10 minute wait. Aaron is a wonderful driver and employee. Also, good food at the restaurant.

3 night stay in kansas city
this hotel was very economical on price, clean, and well kept by housekeeping everyday. this hotel is probably best for people coming or going via the airport which is what it is probably intended for but its kind of far away from everything else in kansas city, but if the location is ok this is a great hotel!

Short drive from hotel
although its expensive go to the restaurant called skies in the top of the hyatt regency downtown, it rotates and has great drinks and desert. if your on a budget only do drinks and desert and go after dark (make a reservation). also go to country club plaza to shop, its awesome!

Hotel looked nice from outside; but then the first room they gave us had ants on the nightstand and flies. We had to request a new room and the second room was a lot better but still found 2 ants on the one of the nightstands. The room did not have a fridge or a microwave which was inconvenient.

first stay at the sheraton
The look and feel of the hotel was nice. Check-in was a breeze. Staff was friendly. Only gripe would be with housecleaning. They came early and apologized for opening my door.they then stuck a letter under the door saying that I had a do not disturb sign up, which I didn't until they put it up. Was told to remove if I wanted room clean, so I did, but they never returned to clean the room. Nice hotel, but poor maid services.

2 and a half at best
Furnishing were not as nice as depicted in pictures. The restaurant has super slow service. The housekeeping was minimal. Would not stay again.

Not my next first choice.
We wanted a hotel close to the KC airport and we got JUST that. While clean, the room was a little shabby. The entrance light bulb flashed off & on during the night until it blew out. The bathtub would not drain during shower. The air conditioner was extremely loud. For the price, I can find nicer accommodations with free evening snacks and drinks as well as free continental breakfast. Maybe not as close to the airport, but I have re-evaluated "location, location, location" when it comes to my overnight stay.
