Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Kansas City North Near Worlds of Fun

Staff and employees were the best part. Friendly, and accomodating. Every request for additional blankets, pillows, and even refund from vending machine was satisfied promptly and with a smile. Room could have been cleaner. We found someone's underwear from a previous guest on the floor and the tile in the bathroom could use a good scrubing especially in the corners. We thought there was a work out center on site and it turned out to be off site. This was one disapointment. Continental breakfast was OK and well stocked for what they offered. Could have used more fruit and maybe some additional hot food items like eggs amd sausauge. Location was excellant for getting to Worlds of Fun. Like the noon checkout time. Overall, not a bad place to stay. We have stay. Probably will try one of the other places in the same location next time. Just din't seem to leave up to the Marriot name. Possiblly could bet the same ammenities and service for $25 less at other places near by.

It was really close to worlds of fun that was nice. But the front desk in the evening was never there you had to find someone for help. The hot tub was broke and the pool needed cleaned BAD it stuff floating in it. I think it was pricey for what you recieved.

Nice room in a nice hotel. Staff was very helpful.

Not sure if it was [...] or Marriot that screwed up or resevation but this Hotel General Manager was NO HELP resolving the issue with the reservation, she was mean, condesending and abusive. When I asking for the corporate headquaters number to try and call from my phone in the lobby to get the mess sorted out she threatened to call the police on me if I didnt get out of her lobby, so I stepped outside and made the call and sure enough the Police came and questioned and released me in front of my 4 year old daughter and all hotel guest in the area at the time, never been so badly treated, ended up we got no room and they kept $105. They are theifs and liars and the woman there needs a shrink in a big way, if Marroit is smart they will drop her like yesterdays trash, she is a liability to them because were gonna sue. [...]

the hotel & room was very clean. the beds were very comfortable. The area around the hotel nice & quiet.the only thing missing in the room was a fridge.

Everything was great except for the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast space was small for the amount of guests it served and that made it extremely crowded. People were bumping into each other and you couldn't get around very well to get your breakfast and there were not nearly enough tables to go around.

We went to Worlds and Oceans of Fun while we were there. Great location if you are wanting to go to either one of these parks. Plus it is within 20 minutes to great shopping like the Legends or Zona Rosa. The only down side was that there wasn't very many places to eat it right there. Pancake place and Wendy's.
