Excellent leisure and business facilities close to central Kansas City
The excellent location of the Embassy Suites Kansas City Plaza Hotel means that a good number of top attractions in Kansas City are nearby or within easy access. Country Club Plaza and Historic Westport are within walking distance, and it is just 10 minutes to the downtown airport. Staff was very attentive, courteous, and professional. Hotel was very crowded, but to be expected on a holiday weekend. Room cleanliness was good, but not above average. Large, comfortable two room suite. If I were to have them fix anything it would be to replace those awful TV remotes. The TV hardly receives the signal from them.

Great Hotel
The hotel was beautiful and very warm and accomidating. Happy hour hit the spot after a long day of traveling. Great pool area but the hot tub could have been warner for my liking. this would be my only complaint.

A Particularly Impressive Embassy Suite.
We have stayed in a lot of Embassy Suite hotels and this one was particularly nice. The location, near the Plaza and Westport, was great! I'm only sorry we couldn't spend more than one night there. It would have been a better value if it had included complimentary parking and/or free internet access.

Embassy Suites Kansas City
The Embassy Suites in Kansas City was great. The service and thoughtfulness of the staff was the best I have experienced at a hotel. The suite had everything I needed and wanted. The complimentary breakfast had an amazing array of foods and made- to-order omlette's.

Beautiful hotel
It was within walking distance from the Plaza area and an easy drive to Kauffman Stadium for the Royals game. The happy hour was nicely done and had punch and animal crackers for kids if you brought them. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! Only downside to our trip was our door lock breaking so we couldn't get into our room after breakfast to pack our things for checkout; but they sent maintanence up to crowbar our room open and promptly fixed the lock.

The Plaza was about 6 blocks away, all downhill and you can call to have the shuttle bring you back if you like.

Anniversary getaway
So much to do in this area. Nelson Atkins Art Museum and sculpture garden, Country Club Plaza, and Westport all super close and convenient. Rooms were quiet, bed was comfy, and everything was clean. Breakfast was great. Service was friendly and efficient. Had to pay nightly parking rate.

Good location
The staff generally seemed cranky, especially the bartender & shuttle bus driver. The food service people were nice though. The rooms were clean & comfortable & the breakfast is always good. The best thing about this one is the location: walking distance to Westport for food & entertainment. Overall though, we prefer the Overland Park Embassy Suites location.

good location
The staff was exceptional, very friendly. Our room was very disappointing. Not very clean, did not smell good, towels were not folded and stacked so they appeared used but smelled clean. After we checked in found out there would be a parking charge.

Totally unacceptable bottle of wine
The hotel was fine, although a bit surprise at the lack of adult supersvison and children running the halls

Very nice and close to the Plaza
The hotel was very nice and the free breakfast was incredible. However, WIFI internet was not free....
