I took my grandaughter there for an overnight, it was nice that it was located close to everything we wanted. The room was superb, and the staff could not have been more professional. We loved it.

Horrible room
The room smelled of old smoke and was very musty. The AC did not work, the room had 3 burnt out light bulbs and broken exhaust fan in the bathroom. Not what you expect at $120.00 a night.

Everything was very clean. The decor is their newer style; very classy and elegant. It is a big improvement over the Embassy Suites of yesteryear as far as style goes. The Manager's Reception was fantastic as usual, as was the breakfast. As a bonus, my cell phone charger broke while I was there. I called to the desk to see if they had a spare one and allow me to leave my phone down there to charge as it was bone dead. They did one better, and one of the employees gave me his personal charger and told me to just keep it as it was a spare. Location is great; easily accessible from the airport or from downtown. We went to the Plaza for the evening, and it only took about 20 minutes to get there. The Speedway/Legends area was also only about a 20 minute drive. We completely plan on staying here next time we're in town.

Very Good Choice
Everything was great, my daughter was married in the Embassy Suites hotel everything went great. Had the wedding in one ballroom and walked right next door and the reception was in the next room, didn't have to drive anywhere. The breakfast was better than going out and the evening get together was fantastic also. We would definately stay here again.

Enjoyed the Embassy.......
We always enjoy staying at the Embassy Suites. The extra room is nice (everyone can spread out; kids can watch cartoons in one room and parents watch watch what they want in the other), and we also enjoyed the free breakfast buffet and the kids liked the pool. There were a few cosmetic issues with our room: the faucet was loose when we turned on the water and the dresser (or the floor) was crooked in our bedroom (couldnt really tell). Very minor things, though. We'll definitely be back in the future.

The Sup's
We were in KC for a baseball tourny and the hotel was very close in proximity to both fields. The rooms were clean and the breakfast and happy hours are always a pleasant bonus!! The boys were entertained by the pool, but there were others in the hotel that did not appreciate 12 yr old boys - that was my only complaint. When the hotel is almost completely compromised of baseball boys others should be made aware so they can go elsewhere! Would definitely stay again!

Great value and great atmosphere!
I stayed at this hotel with my brother and sister for a wedding. The lobby is gorgeous, with a very zen feeling to it with waterfalls and simple design. It's a great place to have the complementary breakfast or just relax. The bride and groom also had the reception in one of the ballrooms. Another great perk: the free shuttles to the airport and the Zona Rosa shopping center. The room itself was spacious and clean. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable. The bedroom and living room each had its own tv, which made it convenient for my brother to watch one thing and my sister and I to watch another. The only complaint: the toilet wasn't very...what's the word...powerful. It got clogged during our stay, but someone came up right away, and came back while we were out to fix it.

Short drive from hotel
There's a free shuttle to the Zona Rosa shopping center, which has just about every major store and good restaurants. I had a nice dinner at Hereford House. It's all lit up during the holidays.

Does anybody Care
Had business associates come in from out of town to attend the Chiefs game. The experience at the hotel was less than impressive from: Not being able to get a final statement of payment from the hotel, transportation service was far from desirable when they approached us in front of the hotel verbally aggressive why we didn't us their service to return, the hotel staff could care less. Accommodations were OK, they have been under construction for over 1 year now. Food was good on the breakfast buffet but the rest of the stay should be forgotten. Doubtful to stay at this location again.

NOT a good stay
This is the worst Embassy Suites stay I have ever experenced. Even after an hour of trying to get the necessary sleeping arrangements which we had reserved weeks ago, the noise levels, warped doors, etc., were an added difficulty. Add to that the fact that one had to wait in long lines for breakfast and you have one unhappy businessperson who will make sure others know not to stay at this particular hotel. Our company has always preferred Embassy Suites, BUT this one sure makes us wonder!
