Econo Lodge Downtown North

We had an average experience at this hotel. It was pretty much what you would expect for the price. The location isn't great, but does get you close enough to the downtown area without shelling out a lot more money. Good if you are on a budget.

Good value for the money. Nice rooms for a motel in this price range.

My room never was clean in 2 days bad smell dirty sheets no good room service I told them 3 times and they never came to clean room worst hotel experience ever at a hotel

This was by far the smallest room we'd had in our two week car trip around the US, with no carpeting. On the one hand, veneer flooring probably is cleaner than carpet, but it wasn't very comfortable - I wish I'd had slippers! The most frustrating was that the wireless internet did not work for our mac book, ipad or iphone - and it was clear that staff couldn't do anything about it (the equipment and service the hotel uses was the problem, not staff). We were unhappy about that since we expressly wanted wi-fi, were told we would get it, AND, every other hotel, even tiny local ones, had wi-fi that worked.

Easy access to freeway from hotel to get to Worlds of Fun and baseball stadium. Rooms were clean. Perfect place to stay for a short trip and won't be in the room that much. We have five in our family so we got adjoining rooms and that worked great. They do not have a pool.

Noisy. Stains on hallway carpets. Very small rooms. Black mold spots in shower. Stains on room carpet. A/C either too cold or does not come on. Not worth $66 per night. Continental breakfast very limited.

The hotel was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was the air conditioner was too big for the room. The compressor kept kicking off and on every 5 minutes and kept me up most of the night.

Hotel was comfortable and the price was right for a short stay.

Took my granddaughter for a very early flight out of KCI. Needed a cheap but decent place to stay. Front desk was friendly and accomodating. Rooms were clean and well set up. Our wake up call was on time. Breakfast is served early. We were in the bfast room at 5:30 am and people were already taking advantage of the continental bfast, including waffles. Will definitely take advantage of this motel again and recommend to anyone.
