great location
We needed a place before an early flight out and this fit the bill perfectly. It was quiet and comfortable. And we took advantage of their park-and-fly plan--very reasonable with great service to and from the airport.

Great location for airport
Great location for the proximity to MCI. However, please replace the mattresses. Other than that, no complaints.

Good value for an overnight stay, to go to the Airport next morning. Close to Airport an easy in and out.

Good transit motel
This was not a real fancy motel, but it certainly was a relatively inexpensive place to spend the night before we flew out the next morning. Close to the airport, with reliable shuttle service. No elevators noted, so we hauled lots of luggage upstairs to our room.

Maintance issues!
The Econo Lodge Airport had some major maintenace issues. Our toilet didn't flush properly, The chairs were old and one was broken completley. Everything was worn out including the towels and wash cloths. It was fairly clean. We stayed in a basement like floor which had a scary unsecure feel to it and the window in the room was like a sliding glass door with no lock we could see. We were ignored when we checked in while the clerk talked on the phone then took another call while he was checking us in. He did answer are questions about an extra pillow and where to get a meal but seemed in a rush to get rid of us. The Am desk attendent was more friendly however their FREE breakfast was a joke. The only really good thing about this hotel is it was close to the airport and we had an early flight.

Great shuttle service to the airport at early hours in the morning
We needed to catch a flight out of Kansas City at 6 am and the front desk was very helpful in getting us to the correct airline at 4:30 am as well having the desk open for bill paying. If we needed this service we could have left our car at their parking lot for a small fee. We might do that next time.

Distance from the hotel to the airport is very good and easy to find a good restaurant nearby.

Amazing staff
We didn't stay very long but when we got there around 1am we checked in and our room didn't have heat so we called down to the front desk and the lady was very nice and changed our rooms for us and we didn't have to go downstairs, she came upstairs and made sure everything was comfortable. It wasn't the nicest place but it was the friendliest! And it was about what we expected for the price we paid.

Econo Lodge Airport
Our Stay was ordinary. Our booking stated that our checking in time was 2:00 p.m., we reported in at 3:30 and our room was not available until almost 5:00 p.m. I have stayed here before and had not had this problem.
