Will stay a second time

With this hotel you get what you pay for. It's nice not over the top but its a good place to take a rest, shower and sleep. It's close to World and Oceans of Fun. There are also good venues to eat close . We would stay here again due to the location.

Days Inn

Non smoking room full of smoke, clothing afterward smelled of smoke. Carpet full of cigarette burns. Breakfast=waffles and oatmeal, that was it. Booking rates on site were much higher than what others paid.

Ruined Trip

We were treated like second class citizens because we had not booked through them we were told. The room was not clean and was a smoking room. When we asked to change rooms because this room was disgusting we were told they were booked so call where we booked through if you have an issue. There was no way we were going to stay in that gross room so it ruined our whole weekend. We returned home.

South of the hotel a short distance is a strip mall on the west side with a sport bas (ALAMO); very good dnners for the price - fantasic KC strip steak!

Ok for the price

Carpet was not vary clean had lots of stains, needed washed badley. the couch was old, torn, and stain badley. The king size bed was comfy. Staff was friendly, allowed me to check in early with out a extra fee. Has a small fridge. Close to worlds/oceans of fun, not even a 5 min drive which was very convienient and having a quick trip rite across the street was nice.

needs updated

The hotel needs some major updating. The breakfast was great. Housekeepers could use further training. Hotel was in a great location.

take it or leave it

We were only there one night. The original room we got wasn't ready yet, but they quickly moved us to another. I'm paranoid anyway and after reading previous reviews I got even more paranoid and went to the Target nearby and bought a set of sheets and a pillow (brought a blanket from home). The way the smoking and non-smoking rooms were set up was terrible...like, we got a waft of cigarette smoke as the guy next door lit a cigarette. Other than that, no complaints, it wouldn't be my first choice next time but it served as a good location for where we were headed the next day.

disgusting

We picked this hotel because it was close to Worlds of Fun. This hotel was so dirty, from the front office, to the sidewalks, to the swimming pool, to the rooms. It was awful.
