Days Inn Kansas City, MO Near Worlds of Fun

The hotel needs some major updating. The breakfast was great. Housekeepers could use further training. Hotel was in a great location.

We were only there one night. The original room we got wasn't ready yet, but they quickly moved us to another. I'm paranoid anyway and after reading previous reviews I got even more paranoid and went to the Target nearby and bought a set of sheets and a pillow (brought a blanket from home). The way the smoking and non-smoking rooms were set up was terrible...like, we got a waft of cigarette smoke as the guy next door lit a cigarette. Other than that, no complaints, it wouldn't be my first choice next time but it served as a good location for where we were headed the next day.

With this hotel you get what you pay for. It's nice not over the top but its a good place to take a rest, shower and sleep. It's close to World and Oceans of Fun. There are also good venues to eat close . We would stay here again due to the location.

We picked this hotel because it was close to Worlds of Fun. This hotel was so dirty, from the front office, to the sidewalks, to the swimming pool, to the rooms. It was awful.

The hotel floor was stained and looked dirty. The staff was incredibly rude and unattentive. I will never ever stay at that hotel again!! Oh yeah, I forgot to meantion that there were several questionable people loitering around the hotel at night.

The towels were dirty. They were doing construction which I was not informed of before hand. And they started working early on a Sunday morning.

I have stayed at this location before and knew it was not 5 star, but this trip was really bad. There was still trash in one room. But the worst was the bed bugs in my parents room. Went by the next day within 12 hours of our reporting and the room was rented again.

We only stayed for one night and got in late. The room was ok, and mostly clean. The bathroom seemed like it could use a deep clean and the carpet was in need of replacing. The worst part of our experience was the complimentary breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was available until 9am and we came in at 8:30. The choices were waffles, some pastries, very stale hard biscuits with cold gravy, stale cereal with no milk, and a loaf of bread. The juice and coffee machine didn't work, and there were only knives and spoons, no forks. It seemed like someone came in and just threw whatever they could find on the table. It was really disappointing.

Went to the Zoo, Crown Center, and three Casinos. The Days Inn was run down and needed repairs, The room we had had new matress, and remodled bathroon, carpet was old. Alittle over priced at 60.00

Very old,tired, and dirty rooms.
