Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City South

Overall, a great experience. I wish that this hotel offer WiFi in all rooms.

We arrived late in the day after an extremely long ride. We had confirmed a late arrival time in our booking. I had booked a room with a king size bed for my husband and I and a sofa sleeper for our ten year old. At the desk we were told that there were no rooms available with a sleeper sofa, no double rooms, or even a cot! The hotel staff offered many blankets to put our son to sleep ON THE FLOOR! [...]

The check out clerk did not honor the promotion that [...] was doing with this hotel chain. I had the receipt in hand [...]. No go[...]We ate one meal a day because of this- company budget is a budget for a reason... No juice bar, apple, orange or banana offered from their $XX breakfast buffet so we could take meds. No directions or maps available to the closet grocery store. We finally found one 30 minutes later to aquire a-ONE- banana. We were not able to get access to the internet for the 2 days we were there. Had to travel to a library to get work completed. Hotel clerk told us "No one was "authorized" to help, other than the card instuctions, in the desk drawer- which didn't work. This has only happened to us one other time this year of travel, and that hotel had someone come to our room to get us on-line.Otherwise, it was VERY clean, updated and quiet, and we slept well; went to bed hungry, but so do most of the worlds population, so we just went to sleep. Of note, our room shared the wall of the only elevator on the floor. This did not create a noise problem. Missed the traditional coffee pot in the rooom. A individual cup maker was provided. It was time consuming, the lidded styrofoam travel mugs provided were fancy, but we travel with our own beverage cups and tea bags.... not coffee drinkers. The sheets and pillows were FABULOUS. The bed very comfortable. BEST bathroom set up we have seen- we were in 178 hotel rooms in 2009- so we have seen alot of hotel bathrooms. This was a personal stay, but we will not use this chain for our company events.

I was very dissapointed with the cleaniness 0f my room as well as the unfriendly staff. If I had my way I would give the customer two nites free the next time I was in town....very dissatisfied is my rating.

The room was ready and clean when we arrived. The hot tub was very relaxing. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was a great hotel for a quick weekend getaway. Hotel was very clean. Great Lobby with internet access. The pool and hot tub were very nice, but there were no time periods for adults only--too many noisy children running back and forth from hot tub to pool.

I enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard Marriot very much. They were so friendly and helpful at the front desk. The pool area was nice. I did use the fitness center and it was a bit small but sufficient enough. I would definately stay here again. Breakfast was expensive. So we went out!

The room was very comfortable and clean. Common area had a lovely gazebo, staff was helpful and breakfast was very good. I only wish that there had been a few restaurants to choose from within walking distance. However, the hotel itself was excellent.
