Conveniently located on a quiet street with easy access to I-435. Bad location, dirty room

The pictures on this site cannot possibly be of the actual hotel. The area was sketchy, the sheets were dirty, the lock on the door was broken, the water wasn't working. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff was nice and the hotel was full of other families

Family Vacation

I was very aggravated that a online travel company charged me almost $25.00 more for the room per night that DEFINITELY was not worth it. It smelled of very bad "air freshner" if thats what you want to call it. Old dingy. Hallways were not air conditioned. People was living there! And definitely not worth the price I paid through the travel company. I definitely will book my own hotels when I get to the destination we are staying since it is ALOT cheaper!! The free breakfast was actually good.

Ehh

I was expecting better when I booked and read the reviews and saw some pics. Whoever stayed before me had a pet because although it had been vaccumed, there was still pet hair on the floor. My bathtub was disgusting. I had to wear sandles to shower in. Had an old, musty smell and the keycards never seemed to work so I always had to go in through the front desk. The worst part was the location. It is not an easy place to get to. I had GPS and still missed the turn. The postitve part was the staff. The manager (younger girl), was very nice and accomidating as well as the rest of the staff. Overall, if this place can get a remodel, it would be great.

Weekend getaway

Very good experience overall. Staff was super nice and friendly. I was impressed with the variety and quality of complimentary breakfast. Usually whenever I see complimentary, it's just bagels and muffins but the breakfast was much better than that. 5 minutes drive to worlds of fun.

Decent for decent price

I liked it, except the window curtains are semi-transparent that open up directly to outside parking lot. I am not sure if they can see through the window, but You can see people thru from inside and they were cloth curtains.

Cold!

When we got into our room it was about 18 degrees outside and 20 degrees in our room. The heating and cooling units in the building had gapping holes around and it took the heater 6hrs just for the room to get warm. We told the front desk but all rooms were the same. Breakfast at this hotel was great it had almost everything. There was a gym but it wasn't clean and was in a old hotel room. I would have rather paid for a cheap hotel during the winter. I bet it is nicer during the summer with the pool.

Ameristar is the best casino in the area and is just down the road. They have a few good restuarants as well.

Convenient, comfortable and reasonable

We had a two room suite. It was nice to have a sitting area separate from the sleeping area. Having two bathrooms was really nice. We will stayhere again.
