Think Twice before booking
Before booking this hotel I would think twice about it. I had to switch rooms due to the fact the air conditioner had loads of dust on the vents. Checked another room had same problem. Finally found a room. The room had a musty smell when the A.C was off. Had a meeting in the afternoon attempted to take shower but no hot water. Breakfast bar was very limited and had the same items every day. Ice machine was also down on my floor. Went to use the laundry room but the washer was down had to go to a laundry mat to do laundry. The elevator sign fell off the wall while I was there. I will give credit to the staff who was nice. I am currently a member of Choice Hotels and I can tell you I will not be choosing any more of their hotels. Would have checked out earlier but other hotels in the area were booked for the week I was stuck so I had no other choice but to stay. Have a another conference next year same time but will be staying else where. Nice hotel across the street which I will book next year.

Great Location
The Comfort Suites Kansas City has an incredible location. It is a minute from I-35 which can get you to downtown KC in 20 minutes. Beyond that, I really can't say anything good about it. The rooms are vaguely dirty and sticky. It is supposedly a totally smoke free hotel, but one of our rooms smelled of smoke so bad, we had to move. The deadbolt on our door did not work and screws were backing out on a wall lamp. The pull out couch was like a bed of nails.

THE CONFORT SUITES IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY IT IS CLOSE TO DINING AND SHOPPING IT IS ONLY 20 MINUTES FROM THE AIRPORT. GREAT LOCATION. ROOM WAS LARGE DIDN'T FEEL LIKE YOU WERE STAYING IN A MATCHBOX. FELT MORE LIKE HOME
