Don't get any better
This Comfort Inn is a new facility, and has nearly everything one needs. With a car, one can reach restaurants, shopping, and Interstate access to Kansas City--and the airport is only 5 min. away. Great experience.

Poor customer service
Poor customer service, advertised as pet-friendly, which they are not, so required us to make last-minute pet boarding arrangements. Breakfast was ridiculous, they put food out at the beginning (5AM) and then never refilled/restocked anything, if you came down after 0800 everything was completely picked over and you could have cereal and danishes and that was about it. Small rooms with a lot of hallway noise and noise from upper floors, even though hotel was not that busy. [...]

Hard to relax in cold water
Check-in was fine but the front desk was not very helpful as to where to find food as there were no resturant at the exit where the hotel was located. The room was comfortable with a very nice flat screen tv. With the right cables you could watch movies from your laptop. My biggest problem was the spa it was ice cold and the front desk did not seam to care. If he had told us we walked by the the front desk in our swim suits that they were having issues with the heaters. I would not be so bother by this but he did not seam to care. Allow you to walk by so you could get half wet than walk back to ask if the heat could be turned back on. Had to walk back for towels too. If he was with another guest or on the phone I could understand this but he was not and his behavior was thoughtless of what a guest would need. I choose this hotel for three reason: wireless internet, indoor pool and hot tub and very close to the Airport. The wireless internet needs a password that was not given at checkin. The pool was very small about 10 x 20 and cold. The hot tub gave you goose bumps. It was easy to get to the Airport at 5 am. The night front desk staff was unhelpful and unconcerned about the comfort of his guests. He had several opportunities where he could have shown us that we as a customer were special and he would want us to return but he fell very flat.

Every resturant you could think of is two exit south of the hotel but the front desk won't tell you that.
