Convenient
I visited family in the area so my stay was a bit longer than a typical leisure trip (11 nights). As such, I wanted the convenience of a kitchenette and a location nearby my family. On these points the Candlewood Suites made the cut. This particular hotel had only been open 4 months so everything still had that new look and feel, which was quite nice. My only complaint was that there was very little housekeeping during my stay. I am fine with a once a week visit but when that visit does not include mopping the bathroom floor nor vacuuming the carpet, well, that's just not acceptable. Also, if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on the back side of the hotel so that you won't be fronting the highway.

If you are traveling with kids, try Pizza Street in the Creekwood shopping center off North Oak. There is an arcade with a videocam so you can sit and have your meal and still keep an eye on the kids. They offer a pizza buffet, which includes dessert options and soft-serve ice cream. The price is very reasonable (something like $5 for an adult!) and kids eat free on Tuesdays.

Most times that i book a hotel online I never get a nice motel.,.,.untill now~! This is one of the best motels I have ever stayed at.,.,it was clean, the beds were great~! the room was a surprize when we entered and found a refridge, microwave, stove and even a dish washer~! All this for a low price and the best part was we were going to Worlds of Fun and it was right across the street.,.,we could see the rides from our window. I feel this is the best motel in the area~!.,.,.(and it's brand new too~!) What a GREAT STAY~!
