Candlewood Jan 15-16 stay
Hotel was easily accessible off I-29 with good ammenities in a congenial area. Hotel was clean & quiet; and, offered a well equiped kitchen area and a wide variety of cable channels for TV viewing.

The stay was great, I did ask about the Suites, and they informed me all rms were considered suites, since there was a kitchen in all rms, rms were clean staff was great, and helping and was management. I read some of the older posts, and id have to say Id think all the bad reviews were wrong! must have cleaned house and got rid of the bad employees! There is a difference between a suite, and a one bedrooms suite, rms were big almost like a little apartment, and the rate you can not beat! love love love this place would never stay anywhere else!!!

WE HAD REQUESTED AN EXTRA BED OR A PULL-OUT SOFA.I WOULD HAVE USED ANOTHER HOTEL IF I HAD KNOWN THE ACCOMADATIONS.NO ONE READ THE SPECIAL REQUESTS OR THEY IGNORED THEM.I WAS NOT HAPPY [...].

Not a suite hotel
What happens when you renovate a hotel on the cheap? You get Candlewood "suites". No a/c in hallways, poor a/c in rooms, no sleeper sofas, no rollaway beds. Front desk is indifferent/uncaring. A mini-kitchen does not make a closet-sized room a "suite". And yes, you will hear the airplanes flying in and out of the nearby airport. They do have free wifi and flatscreen tv's though.

Clean north KC hotel.
Room was clean but small. Thought a suite would've had a couch. Nice amenities, brand new hotel. Not bad for the value.

Nice but not what i paid for
OK But
I paid for a suite with a separate bedroom and a pull out couch. I paid for a handicap accessible room that one was allowed to smoke in. What i got was a one bed room with no second pull out bed that was non smoking (ok i can live with that) and not at all handicap accessible on the second floor. The hotel blamed the mix up on [...].
