Great location to airport. Good shuttle service.
The hotel was very clean and up to date. I especially liked the white, washable comforter instead of the polyester type. The room was quiet - no airport or traffic noise. Shuttle service was prompt and available at all times. The room was available even at a late check-in time. Breakfast was varied, plentiful, and warm. Fresh fruit and yogurt were also available. I would definitely stay there again if need an overnight between flights.

2nd trip to Kansas City with family
The Hotel look run down. not kept up, we even had the housekeeping staff knock on our door a 8:30 in the morning to see if we were still there.

Not the best
I had a very late flight so I was exhausted when I checked in. I was given my room assignment, got to my room to find that it was empty but hadnt been cleaned. There was a half empty bottle of water on the night stand, a bag of trash on the floor and used coffee filter left on the counter. The desk clerk handled the situation immediately which I appreciated and I was assigned another room. The linens in the room were VERY itchy and I spent most of the night tossing and turning while I was itchy. The next morning as I was getting ready to leave, I found a cricket in the bathroom. Breakfast was also pretty lacking. At least the staff was helpful, courteous and accommodating though.

Front desk was very helpful in providing toothbrushes and toothpaste that we forgot. Free breakfast was best free breakfast we have ever had at a hotel.

For want of a mattress...
Our room had two beds. One bed had a new, firm mattress; the other bed had an old, thin, swaybacked thing from the Nixon administration. Guess which one I got. After three nights on that mattress, my back was crying "Uncle." The hotel should have paid me to sleep on that thing. Funny how a little thing like a horrible mattress can really put a damper on a motel experience!

Uncomfortable beds
The 3 of us agreed that the beds were very uncomfortable. We tried to save time by driving up the night before so we would be close to the airport for our early flight and be rested. We would have gotten more sleep if we would have just stayed home to made the long drive.
