Don't stay here!!
Rooms are small, not very cleanly. Cheapest usually isn't the best, you get what you pay for!!

Good deal for the money
I was at Econolodge for my court interpreter orientation workshop in Jeff City. The king size bedroom was nice and clean, had the shower supplies and clean towels, a microwave, a fridge, a TV, wireless Internet, and a table. The downside was the noise of traffic from the nearby highway, but you can get used to that. I did not like the breakfast that much--the oranje juice I had was not good quality. Other food, however, was decent (bagels, pastries, cereal, tea). I would recommend this place to those who want to save some bucks and still have a restful experience.

Time-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
I was pretty happy about the location (about 10 minutes away from the center). It was pretty close to a lot of eateries, too (Culver's is right next to it).

Would never stay there again
First room given was filthy. Gave me another room and fairly clean. Coffee stirer on floor behind night stand, chip crumbs on floor by table. Had me listed as a smoking room. Did not request smoking room. When turned down bed late that night dead bug in bed. Next morning, had to ask for cereal as container was empty. Biscuits cold as was sausage. Staff unfriendly.

A Good Experience
The hotel was easy to find and very accessible. Though we did not use the pool, it was only because we were too busy. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It had a microwave and refrigerator. I have seen such rooms in 3-star hotels. There were places to eat within walking distance. The location was very good for travel around the city. It was a bargain for the money.

Econo Lodge Jefferson City
The room offered more amenities than you might expect for a budget priced motel. We were treated to friendly, courteous service as a same-sex couple.

Very nice room for overnight stay
The Econo Lodge Jefferson City was a very modest room with everything I needed for an overnight stay. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there was adequate space for hanging clothes. There was a table and two chairs and also a refrigerator, which surprised me. I found this room to be perfect for the purpose of a single night's stay.

Seen better, seen worse
First the bad: Econo Lodge in Jefferson City is definitely not the best place to stay. The toilet in the bathroom was loose so any time it was used it moved. The toilet paper dispenser came out of the wall. One of the bed frames had a sharp piece of metal sticking out about 3 inches. It was hidden under the comforter, and I managed to get a pretty good gash in my ankle from hitting it. They offer a continental breakfast, but when we went there was no coffee and the microwave did not work. Now the good: The room was clean. The sink/vanity is separate from the bathroom. It is close to several fastfood and sit-down restaurants. The location is easy to find and accessible to shopping areas, downtown, and conservation parks. The staff was helpful and friendly. (I was taking a class in Jeff City and needed access to a computer with printer. Well they have a computer for guests with no printer. The girl behind the counter let me come and use her computer to print my documents.) The pool was clean. The hotel was quiet. Econo Lodge served my purpose, a clean quiet stay during my class. If you're not looking for a lot of amenities or a nice place to hang out during the day, it's OK.
