Warning!!! Bed Bugs
This hotel has a bed bug problem! I will avoid it like the plague from here on. My poor legs are covered in bites. The hotel owner said the he has had this problem before and has addressed it. But obviously, he has not addressed it correctly.

Hard bed and pillows-great shower power
My 6 year old summed it up best "it's more comfortable on the floor than the bed". The beds and pillows need to be upgraded but we had great shower water pressure and the walking convience of the Sheridan's ice cream and Chuck E Cheese kept the kids happy.

In town for a funeral
Location was perfect. The room size was good for only a few days. Bathroom small and water was warm all of the time hard to get cold water. Excellent restaurants close by Located close to I 70

very clean.perfect location.friendly staff.maid cleaned our room while we were out and did the best job we have ever experienced, the room was spotless. this is a nice location,on the highway and the room was still quiet.will recommend to everyone.and to top it all off the quality for the price was amazing. top notch room for a great price

Perfect stop for our road trip.
We were just passing through so the location right off the interstate was perfect. Breakfast was pretty good and the room was clean and comfortable; the hotel had everything we were looking for. We actually stayed here on the way out and on the way back. In spite of having chosen the same type of room for both stays, one room had a microwave and fridge but the other didn't. Not a big deal but we thought it was odd. Overall for the price I'd certainly recommend this hotel for short stays. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Affordable, convenient comfort
There are no frills to this hotel. It is right off the interstate, and is easily accessible. I even had a large trailer (total height of 10.5', 36' long) and I easily fit in the parking lot and even under the breezeway in front of hotel reservation.

Comfortable and clean
This is an average motel, but our room was very clean and well maintained. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location is good access to the entire Indepence area and short drive into Kansas City. Was the best price of any motel we compared in the area.
