Welcome to the Americas Best Value Inn of Independence, Missouri. We are located at I-70, exit 12, near the intersection of Noland Road and East 42nd Terrace (look for our lighted ABVI directional pole sign). The hotel is located 3 miles from the Truman Sports Complex (Arrowhead Stadium and Kauffman Stadium), and 4 miles from the Independence Events Center, home of the Central Hockey League's Missouri Mavericks. Hotel with downfalls

We picked this hotel as it was close to Kaufman Stadium where we were headed to attend Royal/Cardinal's games. The hotel advertised free wifi and satellite TV with HBO. The wifi was an unsecured network and my laptop picked up a virus while using there service. The TV was a joke, as they only had the basic local channels, TBS, ESPN, and one HBO station. The room was clean but the door handle was broke on our room and we returned to our room after housekeeping had been in the room and we found our door left cracked open.

go into Kansas City MO for BBQ at Jack Stack's well worth the drive!

Sci Fi Experience

Misleading information regarding contenental breakfast, the only thing offered was coffee, and the coffee machine was out of service. The rooms smelled, and found hair in the tub. Was kept awake on Saturday evening with loud and profain language from another guest two doors down, management didn't want to get involved and asked us to call the police if the problem continued. I wouldn't wish this hotel experience on my worst enemy.
