Bring air freshener
Had to book a smoking room; nothing else was available nearby. Ended up at a Motel 6 about 15 miles down the road because even with air freshener the room, sheets, pillows, towels, and furniture smelled strongly of not only smoke, but also some masking fragrance or chemical. My daughter and I had headaches and nausea after an hour, and we left the window open! The hallways smelled of pea soup and/or green algae. The entire interior smelled bad...they really need to scrub everything down and air it out.

Time-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
Until they freshen the place up, save your time and find another place. The Motel 6 was basic, bring your own shampoo, no breakfast, but it was clean and safe. And did not smell of soup/algae.

Nice clean, friendly place to stop
Just spent the night while traveling through. Close to front parking at a premium, but other than that, perfect.

Very nice hotel
Very nice, quiet hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice breakfast. The elevator was a bit slow and there is no restaurant within walking distance, but these are minor issues.

Hannibal review
WiFi worked thankfully. Got work done before checkout. Breakfast just okay ... Where did they get that bacon? Awful stuff. May be it was "bacon food" made from soy beans and laced with fiberglas to give it structure.
