Pear Tree Inn Fenton

i had a no smoking room but clearly people across from me were smoking and made it awful. They wouldn't move me. The breakfast was awful and plain.

Clean and cared for facility. Room was very nice and check in staff was helpful with advice on local places to eat. Only issue was sign out on highway not clear.

For the money it is average. The hotel is old but is located in a convenient location. Quik Trip next door and next to the hwy. I have stayed at the holiday inn express next door before and choose this hotel to save a couple of dollars. I will spend the extra money the next time i am in town. The holiday inn is much cleaner, the rooms are slightly larger, if needed the rooms are set up better for the handicap needs, and the hotel is newer. The Holiday Inn also has better lighting outside at night. Again for the money I can't complain about this hotel if money is really an issue it's ok.

I will not be staying at the Pear Tree Inn this year. The last time I stayed there, my hubcaps were stolen, even though I had parked right in front of the building in a well lit area. When I complained to the hotel, the desk clerk joked "I know where you can buy new ones". I asked for the manager and he was busy (next door eating breakfast). He would not even show his face. When you stay at a hotel you have a reasonable expectation of safety and security. No fence, no security camera, no concern for customer safety and security. Just a "too bad" attitude. I could have stayed at a luxury hotel for what it cost me to stay here.

This is a good hotel for the price. It is convenient to St Louis on Interstate 44. Rooms were clean and good size. Lobby is non existent. Late check in was through a night "bullet proof glass." It makes you wonder about safety of the area. Breakfast was average but free. I would probably pay the extra $30 and stay in a Drury Inn next time.

Hotel was clean and well maintained inside and out. Room was way above what I expected for the price with comfortable beds and a nice cozy chair to relax in. I could smell cigarette smoke in my non-smoking room, but it was not bad enough to ask for another room. It was easy to access local restaurants and I-44 from the parking lot.

I stayed here for a weekend away just to do some shopping. It was about 10 minutes from the major shopping area. It was very clean, staff was super friendly, I would definetly go back!

Room clean,warm, & quiet. Bed was comfortable--good for resting/sleeping. Breakfast was somewhat limited, but still appreciated, especially the make-them-yourself waffles! Close to work--which was the reason I stayed there; also walking distance from a 24-hr restaurant. Since the weather was an issue--sleet & ice, the parking lot & sidewalks could have been attended to with more care. Would stay there again.

Stayed for business; Room was supposed to be Non-smoking but smelled of stale smoke--just smelled stale all over. Comfortable bed; room temp control was good. Staff was helpful & friendly;24-hr restaurant next door;continental breakfast was limited. An uneventful,and quiet stay--outside of the stale smoke smell.
