Great value
I think it would be hard to do better for the money in Columbia. Good location, nice and clean rooms, very nice toiletries. Not special, but perfectly acceptable. Could use a modern television, but that's about the worst thing I can say.

Houlihans, about a mile south near Broadway, is a lively place with great late drink specials and late food service.

Staff was friendly when I checked in, my room was very clean and the hotel is right off the main highway to get around Columbia. I wasn't sure about this place being I got a room with a king size bed, frig, wi fi, free breakfast for $42/night...but I surprised and enjoyed my stay for the three nights I was there. If your looking for great value I would recommend this hotel..

Extraordinary
Check in and check out were quicker and easier than I have ever experienced. The room was clean, comfortable and bright, to say nothing of being an incredible value. Breakfast bar had a good selection. Staff was friendly and very capable. There was a guest upstairs that was being loud and obnoxious. I called the front desk around 2:00 am. The phone was answereds promptly and the matter taken care of. Staff called me back to ensure that I was satisfied. I would recommend this motel to anyone and everyone.

Great Place
This was a great experience. Its almost like when you first get your HDTV. The staff was very friendly and the room was extremely clean. I will say the butter for my waffles wasn't that great however the waffles were good once I just used syrup instead of butter and the muffins were pretty good. Anyway great place to stay and I can't beat the price. It kept us from getting on food stamps.

We had two rooms...which they wouldn't assign us the connecting rooms (we were traveling with children 12 and 8), however they were across the hall. One of the rooms smelled so badly, we had to go and buy air freshners. The fridge in our room didn't work, but they did replace it the next morning. No elevator. LITTLE outside pool. LOTS of highway noise!!!!! For the price, it was okay, but nothing special. Staff-heavy accent made it difficult to communicate.

Went to visit friends. Went to a very nice farmer's market while there. Hotel was in the center of town, easy to find, clean, and satisfactory.

Not Fancy But A Nice Place to Stay
Room was comfortable, clean,a little dated, but over all it was a very pleasent stay. The Front desk man was very friendly. We didn't stay long had business to atend to at the fairgrounds.
