Days Inn Conference Center Columbia

The climate control system was loud..but atleast it drowned out the noise from the highway... I came home and my bags abd clothes reaked of smoke... although I am a non smoker and no one smoked in my room. The ice machine was also empty...so I had to go to the front desk to get some.

This hotel dates back to the 80s and has not been updated. It is nasty. There wasn't a thermostat in the room. I wouldn't take a shower in it and thought twice about sleeping in the bed. They really should consider closing it or drop the price to about $20 per night. Pretty bad.

I was in town on personal business, and needed a hotel only for one night's sleep. I selected this hotel based on location, room rate, and all the recent positive reviews I read on another site, but I ended up regretting my decision. The property is extremely old, and did not appear to be well maintained. The sleep I desired didn't happen as the walls were paper-thin, so I heard my neighbors on all three sides, as well as every footstep and leaf blowing outside my door (exterior corridors). Also, the room's HVAC system wasn't working up to par, so I shivered throughout the night. Another sub-par feature of the room was the toilet, which couldn't even dispose of liquid waste after 3 flushes. The closet area was so close to the bathroom sink that I couldn't stand at the sink without bumping the back of my head on the wooden hangers. The hotel's breakfast also left a lot to be desired... After walking through a snowstorm from my room to the hotel's restaurant, I was looking forward to a "hot" breakfast. Of the eggs, sausage, potatoes and English muffin I tried, only the English muffin was hot, as I put it in a toaster. And unfortunately, it was the only thing edible on my plate. All in all, not a good stay, and I definitely will not return. Due to weather conditions I was forced to stay another night, and I chose the Extended Stay America. It proved to be a HUGE improvement over the Days Inn, and cost $30 less.

Come back every year in December to visit family and friends. Rooms are clean. Desk Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location to get Christmas shopping done. Looking forward to return trip next year.

I came to Columbia to visit the Missouri University Campus and spend time with my daughter. The hotel staff was very helpful and gave me directions and a map of the campus. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. It was a great way to start the morning with a hot breakfast. Will stay at this hotel on my next return visit!

I made this reservation to look at the Missouri University Campus with my daughter. The Hotel is about a 5 or 10 minute trip. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and getting us a Campus Map. Room was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was a nice touch on a cold morning. Really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Will be staying here again in the future.

Very convenient to get on and off the interstate. My room was clean and comfortable. Nice for the price. Hotel staff was very pleasant. Would stay again.
