Drury Plaza Chesterfield

Although the hotel is advertised to be a Spa Hotel, it did not have the luxuries that one would expect. There were no Suana, or Spa Treatments offered. The bath cloths and towels were rough as well as thin. The towels were old and small. We were provided one hand soap... no facial soap was offered until the last day of our stay. One small bottle of lotion was offered but ithe substance was very thin and runny. The bath & hair amenities were in a dispensor located in the tub... did not apppear to be fresh. The Staff was very nice and went out of their way to accommodate. The food was great!

My mother-in-law and I, along with 2 other mother/daughter couples, went on an overnight Christmas shopping trip. This hotel was perfect location for all day shopping, a quick rest and cleaning up, and then back out for dinner! We'll definelty all be back next year!!

Overall it was a good experience. The receptionist was great.

Had to stay near St Louis for 2 days this week and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my room at The Drury Plaza. It was spacious and beautiful--very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything from check-in to check-out was excellent. Particularly enjoyed the free hot food and drinks in the evening. This stay has made me a big fan of Drury Hotels---wish there were more of them.

This was a very nice hotel, great location and great service. We enjoyed the 5:30 kickbacks.

Our stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Chesterfield was a very pleasant experience. The hotel was immaculate and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very nice and roomy with a beautiful view from the 10th floor window. We were about 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis, but had easy access to the highway. We would highly recommend the Drury Plaza Hotel

You cannot beat the value of this hotel. When we arrived, the staff was friendly and very helpful. They provide free cocktails and hot "snacks" that could actually be dinner. They served hot dogs, baked potatoes, chili, and chips and salsa that particular evening. The free wireless internet was wonderful. The indoor and outdoor pools were both clean and we were surprised that the outdoor pool was open in April. The rooms were clean and fairly quiet. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

As a Kansas City native, I regularly make the 3 hour trip across the state to St. Louis. In all the years, I have been making the trip I have never had a more pleasureable stay. Staying at the Drury Plaza in Chesterfield was the absolute best decision I made for my romantic birthday weekend getaway with my husband. I checked the reviews before I booked online and they were all pretty favorable but I thought "It can't be that good" so I had reservations. Boy, was I wrong. From the staff, to the room, to the location, to the free amenities, everything was PERFECT! My husband and I enjoyed a free breakfast assortment of pancakes, waffles, cereal, biscuits, sausages, pastries, fruit, bagels, grits and oatmeal each morning before we left the hotel. The hotel itself is perfectly located about 20 minutes from downtown STL so we were close enough to head down to the arch and other site seeing tourist locations and head back for shopping in the evening. The Chesterfield Mall is right across the street with several restaurant choices and anchor stores, like Macy's and Dillards. Chesterfield Plaza is about 5 minutes away and it is a strip mall with Wal-Mart, Super Target, Best Buy, Lowe's and several other shopping destinations. Of course there are several food options here as well. It's perfectly located right off the highway and there's a movie theater too. Each evening from 5:30 - 7pm the hotel hosts Happy Hour where each guest is given their choice of 3 alcoholic beverages. They're not just giving out beer and wine, they're mixing drinks as well. During HH, they serve an assortment of food options, like hotdogs, nachos, meatballs and wings. With all the free things, DP was giving away you would assume that service might fall to the wayside. It DID NOT! Every employee was pleasant, perfessional and offered a warm smile and friendly hello each time I encountered them. I even noticed that the guests were friendly as well. I did not feel like I was staying at a hotel, rather with distant relatives I don't get to see as much. The price is reasonable and there are several other free options that DP throws in for us travelers. I highly recommend you stay at this location. In fact, I'm already planning a family trip to STL this summer just so I can stay here again. You may find a cheaper per night hotel but at DP the overall travel experience is what you pay for and the room is thrown in for free.
