Great Hotel for an Inexpensive Price
I visited Cape Girardeau for a Sock Knitting Gathering at the Plaza Convention Center across the street from the Pear Tree Inn. I chose this hotel because [...]gave me a great discount. I was a little leary at first but after reading the reviews for this hotel I decided to take a chance and I am glad I did. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly. I rent my own summer cottage rentals and when I asked the desk staff for info on the sizes of soaps I was given samples so that I may know what to purchase for my rentals. The continental breakfast was more than satisfactory. I did not leave hungry. My room was clean and the hallways were also clean. The hallways were quiet at night and I felt very safe as the outside doors are securely locked at all times. I would definetely stay here again.

VERY NICE
THE PILLOWS WERE GREAT!!! BED WAS PRETTY COMFORTABLE FOR A HOTEL! VERY CLEAN! WE'LL BE BACK NEXT YEAR! BREAKFAST WAS FRESH WITH GREAT CHOICES!

Good Stay
We wasn't there very long was a short stay my 1 yr old son was having surgery early next morning and we lived out of town. So we decided to get a room that way we didn't have to get up so early, had to be at the hospital at 6 am. I wish the room would've had a microwave b/c my son is still on formula he's lactose intolerant so having hard time with milk and whenever he needed a bottle had to go down to the lobby to warm up the water. But for the most part I liked the room it didn't have a fridge either but I didn't need one this time around.

Fantastic Personel. Very clean. Bed could be improved upon. Most other hotels I have recently stayed at are much better. Good location to restaurants.

nice place
It was a nice place, clean, friendly. Breakfast was stocked well with what they off er. Breads, donuts, cereal, nothing hot. I traveled with a handicaped friend that can not walk far. We had to use the elivator to get to the second floor which was located right by a doorway on the frount corner of the building, but all the handicapped parking spots are out in front of the drive up over hang and none near any doorway. PS the pool was wonderful, good size.
