Pear Tree Inn Cape Girardeau

Staff was very nice. Located close to many places to eat and close to Plaza Convention Hall.

We were in town while getting my daughter settled in at college. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice. I plan to stay there again in 6 weeks when I return for Family weekend.

This is just a basic, clean hotel just off of I-55 in Cape Girardeau. The staff was friendly and helpful, although I did see someone in the morning waiting for a few minutes for someone to come to the desk so they could check out. They had free popcorn available in the afternoon when we checked in and a pretty good continental breakfast available in the morning, which included bagels, toast, donuts, yogurt, cereal, bananas, apples, and oatmeal.

Pear Tree Inn was affordable and clean for our overnight stay. I would definitely recommend it

Good value for the money. It was clean but the bathroom was small. The bed was very comfortable. We like Bob Evans Restaurants and there is one very close to the motel.

It was a nice place, clean, friendly. Breakfast was stocked well with what they off er. Breads, donuts, cereal, nothing hot. I traveled with a handicaped friend that can not walk far. We had to use the elivator to get to the second floor which was located right by a doorway on the frount corner of the building, but all the handicapped parking spots are out in front of the drive up over hang and none near any doorway. PS the pool was wonderful, good size.

Hotel was alright, but not exceptional by any means. Beds were extremely small. Bathroom could have been cleaner and was also small. Budget room for budget price. Front desk help were pleasant.

I visited Cape Girardeau for a Sock Knitting Gathering at the Plaza Convention Center across the street from the Pear Tree Inn. I chose this hotel because [...]gave me a great discount. I was a little leary at first but after reading the reviews for this hotel I decided to take a chance and I am glad I did. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly. I rent my own summer cottage rentals and when I asked the desk staff for info on the sizes of soaps I was given samples so that I may know what to purchase for my rentals. The continental breakfast was more than satisfactory. I did not leave hungry. My room was clean and the hallways were also clean. The hallways were quiet at night and I felt very safe as the outside doors are securely locked at all times. I would definetely stay here again.

My room was smaller than average, but attractively furnished (and good quality), with free Internet, and a GOOD bed. The breakfast room serves healthy-to-eat items including granola,yogurt, and fresh fruit (bananas an apples).
