Perfect for the whole family

Very pleased with my stay at this hotel. I had to call ahead with a few questions before I arrived. The staff was very helpful and friendly from the time I called to the time I checked out of the hotel. They offered a map of the grounds and were able to assist in finding the game room or other areas. The location is perfect for families wanting to go to the lake. It's also perfect if you want to stay away from the busy highway 76. The grounds are spacious and quiet, very good restaurants just a few minutes away. The rooms were very clean and well kept, they provide easy check out right from the room. A copy of your expenses during your stay is slid under the door on the day of check out for the guest to review.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

There is a BBQ place near the sonic on State Rte 165. The same road to get to the Welk Resort. Has very good food and excellent staff. Would recommend it to anyone. The BBQ is very juicy and tender, didn't need any BBQ sauce to enjoy it.
