Very Happy!
I was a little worried after reading the few negative reviews, but there was no need to be. Check-In was simple. I didn't even get offered the timeshare tour, but it might be because I skipped the concierge desk and didn't even try to cash in that free coupon card voucher they give at check-in (although I might be interested in a time share here in a few years). We got a studio room and it was basically a regular hotel room with a little kitchenette. The kitchenette had a mini-fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove, toaster, coffee maker, sink and 4 place setting of dished, cups, glasses and silverware. There were also pots and pans and cooking utensils. There was a small table with 2 chairs and a sleeper sofa. We didn't have problems with noise, but we brought a noise machine as someone had suggested. It was a little bright at night, so they should consider installing curtains. There were extra towels under the sink, as well as a regular hair dryer, and extra blankets and pillows in the closet. We really liked the amenities and the grounds. There was a big indoor pool and hot tub which we greatly enjoyed and an outdoor pool with 2 hot tubs. Apparently there's another pool somewhere, but we weren't there long enough to check that out. For a family with a small child, we really liked the playground with lots of slides. Everything was easily accessible from our building and with the pond the walk to the amenities was pleasant. There was an unusually early check out time (10:00 am) and a huge fee if you weren't out on time (more than the cost of our entire stay).

Great resort, great room, bad privacy
The room was clean, layout was nice, tvs were good, we had a view of the lake with a screened in porch. Only downside was the lockout door between one bedroom and the studio did nothing for sound privacy, it sounded like the people in the other room were in our room.

Great Place!!
Overall, this was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and courteous. This was my first trip to the area. The only downfall was what previous reviews noted. They need to discard the thin cheap mini blinds and replace with newer style and add curtains to windows. Plus, they need to install a dimmer on the walkway lightening. Between the two, it was too bright inside the room at night. I actually went outside and unscrewed the four lightbulbs. Plus I used the extra blankets to cover the windows and door. The price of the room was great. Of course, I stayed in the "off-season", and it was actually cheaper and nicer than any major hotel I could have booked.
