The Ramada Inn was located in a great place a long 76. Shows, food and family entertainment in walking distance. A lot of ground with two swimming pools and hot breakfast located right next door at a restaurant.

The staff as nice, the the room was nice ...the breakfast was...well, less than desired. Buffet across the parking lot in a bar...literally a bar. Paper plates, hot lids you had to remove for the food. 4oz paper cups for drinks...refilled ourselves like 3 times each. Very cheap. Would rather of had a show ticket.

Shopping tip:
Long walk from hotel
Outlet malls but do not buy from Imax theather shops. I bought a Branson shirt (14.00). No returns or exchanges...when I got to the hotel to try it on...it was dry rotted and torn all the way down the front!

Great price for the location!
The lobby building was the only updated building. The rooms were clean, just old and outdated. It's a great location for those trying to avoid most of the Branson traffic, although it is on the "strip" it is on the East side by the Dixie Stampede. The breakfast buffett was nothing special, held in a restuarant called "The Rowdy Beaver" it was pretty plain. Overall, it was a quiet hotel and a great price.

the ugly
The entire experience at the hotel started off bad....they had no regard for a request for 2 rooms that were close together. I was traveling with 4 small children. They basically said requests were disregarded and continued by saying I should have done more followup since I only booked 2 days prior to the stay. The end result was all of us crammed into 1 room...which was dirty, the pull out couch was broken, the bedspreads were repulsive. It felt unsafe for someone traveling with small children...people loitering around--dirty surroundings. I could not wait to get out of there.

Great location and great price
We usually stay at Ozark Mountain in across the road for 30 years but the pool was an issue there. At 10:45 you are out and here it was great. The kids could swim as long as they liked and we will be back. No one was mean to the kids because they want to swim late. GREAT PLACE NICE PEOPLE!

People at front desk very friendly and helpful especially young black man, failed to get his name. They accomodated my needs for an interview area without any interruption and were very helpful with any questions or needs I had.

Strip was easily accessible to many good restuarants and prices were reasonable for a resort town in the off season, in all catagories.

weekend getaway
The hotel was very comfortable for the price we paid. The only complaint we really have is that the shower head is very low. So, if you are 5'7 or taller, be prepared to bend to get into the shower. Overall the experience was very pleasant and the staff was very helpful.

Good location
It was by no means a resort, but reasonably clean and the location was convenient. The entrance to the fitness center was behind the building, and I was a little worried about going there early in the morning when it was still dark. The was some type of church convention for young people in Branson and many were guests at the Ramada, and the teenagers were very noisy late at night.

Branson Trip Review
The hotel was fine, except that there was a large stain in the middle of the carpet in the room. Other than that we had no problems. There could have been more ice machines. There was only one for a three floor building. Jim Alsop
