Don't do it
Seemed like a good value. Pictures were great. Nasty when we got there. They put us in a smoking room and when we called to ask to be moved to another room, they insisted it was not a smoking room. It had ash trays and reeked of smoke. Finally they switched us but they were very rude. Next room was not clean. Showers were gross. Trash under the bed. Luckily we only booked one night. Don't book this room. You would be better off paying a little more money and staying somewhere else.

Be careful when booking here with the Or bitz
Overall this is a good hotel. We have stayed here several times in the past. It's an average hotel, not the best, not the worst. If booking through Or bitz, I would advise calling ahead to confirm reservation. When we arrived they had us in a double queen instead of the king we had booked. When I said that wasn't right, they said sorry but they were booked and had no kings. I showed them my reservation for a king and was told they didn't have one and that Or bitz would book rooms even if not available. I don't know if that is true or just an excuse. They wouldn't give me my money back since it was a prepaid room. When I complained that yes it was prepaid, for a KING, they said I could upgrade to a suite for an additional cost. Finally after more complaining, they gave me the suite at the same cost. So in the end it worked out, but it should have never come to that. BTW, the king suite is great ....

Ehhh.. I've seen worse.
The lobby is definitely misleading, it's beautiful. The rooms however, not so much. Very old and outdated. No elevator to get to our room. Bathroom very very small. Location was good though.

The Ramada Inn was located in a great place a long 76. Shows, food and family entertainment in walking distance. A lot of ground with two swimming pools and hot breakfast located right next door at a restaurant.

Branson, MO
The staff as nice, the the room was nice ...the breakfast was...well, less than desired. Buffet across the parking lot in a bar...literally a bar. Paper plates, hot lids you had to remove for the food. 4oz paper cups for drinks...refilled ourselves like 3 times each. Very cheap. Would rather of had a show ticket.

Shopping tip:
Long walk from hotel
Outlet malls but do not buy from Imax theather shops. I bought a Branson shirt (14.00). No returns or exchanges...when I got to the hotel to try it on...it was dry rotted and torn all the way down the front!

Great price for the location!
The lobby building was the only updated building. The rooms were clean, just old and outdated. It's a great location for those trying to avoid most of the Branson traffic, although it is on the "strip" it is on the East side by the Dixie Stampede. The breakfast buffett was nothing special, held in a restuarant called "The Rowdy Beaver" it was pretty plain. Overall, it was a quiet hotel and a great price.

the ugly
The entire experience at the hotel started off bad....they had no regard for a request for 2 rooms that were close together. I was traveling with 4 small children. They basically said requests were disregarded and continued by saying I should have done more followup since I only booked 2 days prior to the stay. The end result was all of us crammed into 1 room...which was dirty, the pull out couch was broken, the bedspreads were repulsive. It felt unsafe for someone traveling with small children...people loitering around--dirty surroundings. I could not wait to get out of there.

Great location and great price
We usually stay at Ozark Mountain in across the road for 30 years but the pool was an issue there. At 10:45 you are out and here it was great. The kids could swim as long as they liked and we will be back. No one was mean to the kids because they want to swim late. GREAT PLACE NICE PEOPLE!
