Unbeatable for the price

We had stayed at this establishment a few years ago and found it to be better than when we stayed before. We were pleased with it for the price. We would like to have had a small refrigerator and microwave in the room, but for a nice clean roomy room and access to an indoor pool and hot tub in a hotel that is very conveniently located on the "strip", we have only one complaint. The "hallways" going from the rooms to the pool are not inside for most of the rooms so it got a little chilly going from our room to the pool and back. The service was very good and all of the staff people were very hospitable. We will stay there again.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

When visiting Branson, try to take the alternate routes to get to the restaurants, shows and attractions as much as possible to avoid heavy bumper to bumper traffic and possibly being late for a show. Most lodging establishments give you a map clearly showing where everything is located so that you will know which of the routes to take and where each of them come back in on the strip close to where you are trying to go. It will save you time and a whole lot of frustration. If you are in no hurry to get where you want to go, take the strip and enjoy the sights.

Not what I was expecting!

When we arrived at the hotel, I thought we were at the wrong one! From looking at this hotel on the website, it looks great! But, when you arrive the steep drive into the parking lot is enough to scare you away! It would be okay if it was updated a little! The breakfast was horrible left over doughnuts from the day before! Also, we stayed in the jacuzzi room expecting that since we payed more for the room especially considering the prices in Branson, that we would at least have a mini fridge or microwave! Other than that the bed was good and room service was okay! We will not stay here again!

Adequate accomodations

The accomodations were OK. The motel has not seen modernization for some time. Faucets leaked and toilet seat had only one bolt holding it in place. The hot water was difficult to regulate when showering - either ice cold or scalding. The real disappointment was with the air travel - AirTran. Itinerary was changed just before the departure causing a six hour layover in Atlanta. Then the plane left late from Branson causing us to miss our connecting flight in Atlanta and having to stay the night there. I had a prepaid motel room waiting for us in Minneapolis that evening and had to eat it. Very dissappointing - don't think I will book a package deal again and especially not if the airline is AirTran.

Spend A Couple $ More

My husband and I traveled here and booked online. I wish we would have spent a couple dollars more a night to stay someplace else. The hotel is very old and outdated and did not feel very clean. Wallpaper half peeling off, mauve sheets from who knows when, hard beds, etc. I am not a "clean freak," but I was uncomfortable in this room. I can't say that the room was really dirty, it was just very old and in need of being updated so if felt very unclean. Trust me, spend just a little more and stay someplace else.

DUMP!!!!

This motel has gone downhill...Literally!!!! If you have young chidren in a stroller, be careful because it is mighty steep and dangerous. Even though we had a non smoking room, the bathroom smelled like someone was sitting in there puffing away. I'm guessing it had to be the neighbors. The pools were also cloudy and dirty the whole weekend. We chose not to swim because of this. I know the saying you get what you pay for but I think you should pay no more than 25 dollars a night for this dump. I will not be staying here again.

Pretty decent choice for the given money

A average plus hotel for the given price. Parking is a bit difficult as one needs to tactfully park it in the inclined lot sideways. Breakfast is continental and nothing so great to mention about it. It is located right in the middle of many attractions.

The hotel staff was fine and very helpful. [...] The hotel we finally made it to placed us on the 5th floor which normally would be fine but we are both disabled and carrying our luggage to the furthest point possible was NO easy task! [...]

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Confirmations between Orbtiz and the hotel seemed to be lacking. Showed different addresses...took us over 3 hours to find the place....confirmation numbers were wrong. When I called Orbtiz and spoke to a manager to voice my concerns he said he could give me a voucher for my next travel with Orbitz? excuse me??? no I will not use your serve again... it was horrible!!!! I would not recommend it EVER. So he claimed the best he could do was $28 dollars off our credit card.... that SUCKS! spent more then that in gas trying to find the place that YOU gave me the wrong address too! I personally think a full refund would have been nice! or at least half!!!! if the hotel had been busy they would have given our room away by the time we got there!
