Entertainer-created Branson hotel with a pool, free breakfast and more
Set in a peaceful, wooded locale just moments from the 76 Strip, Boxcar Willie Inn has a heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and outdoor sundeck -- not to mention discounted show and attraction tickets. The inviting lobby spells gathering place with a fireplace, 52-inch TV, antique player piano and a selection of magazines and local newspapers. nice moderate space and $
comfortable beds, view of hills, needed to call for better directions because we got confused on first try to locate. Nice location though traffic wise and quiet area. Could get where we needed to without being stuck in hiway 76 ; good access to alternate routes.Pool was great no deeper than 4-5 feet (Kids were able to touch everywhere-no concerns about safety.

Slightly disappointing vacation stay
The service was great, the beds very comfortable, everything appeared clean - until my granddaughter crawled on the carpeting and her feet were black when she got up. The location is a little difficult to find. Overall it was a good stay just not the 3-star rating I expected [...]. It's a 2-star at best.

Nice family place to stay
Nice staff, Quiet and peaceful place with a great indoor pool and jacuzzi. Was well worth the money.

Friendly, Clean and off the busy strip
We wanted to stay in Branson but off the busy streets. Boxcar Willie's was perfect. The people were friendly and helpful. We had a nice, clean room and the pool was beautiful. We come to Branson frequently and this was our best motel stay. Thank you!

Traveled around Branson checked out the sites. The hotel was fine they provided everything we needed. We do not do much traveling but maybe we should start do to the fact that we had a good experience.

Great price, decent accomodations.
We spent 2 nights at the hotel with 3 kids..4, 6 and 8. We didn't have any problems whatsoever and the service was very good, however, the rooms were just that rooms..nothing special. They were clean, but they felt old. The free breakfast was nice (eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, donuts, bagels, english muffins although the breakfast area was very small if you didn't go eat in the lobby. The pool is inside which is a bummer..the kids wanted to swim in an outside pool. The location is ok, but I felt like we were far from the "action." The drive to get to the strip is short, but it's too far to walk to anything. All in all, our experience was good. I'd stay there again although I'd honestly prefer something with a little more pizzazz. If you want a nice, clean place to sleep..this hotel is for you.
