Quality Inn Kansas City / Blue Springs

Everything went well. Staff, location and value was perfect. Shopping and restaurants in the area. Would stay here again.

I would find another place to stay if I were in the area again.

Too expensive for what we got. Funny smells throughout. Stains all over the chair in our room.

Bed was the smallest King I ever saw it was saggy and generally just OK, my wife found bugs in bathroom

Conveniently located for our needs. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Very quiet, clean and friendly staff. Excellent value. Would recommend to family and friends (and did!). Egg patties at contiental breakfast not up to expectations of the rest of meal. Liked the fact turkey sausage was offered as a choice to pork for breakfast meat. Wished more hotels / restaurants would offer a non-pork choice of breakfast meat.

The room was less than appealing. It was adequate, but the matress was tired out as well as the pillows. The staff, including the manager, was less than helpful. The breakfast was poor and they did not even have fresh coffee first thing in the morning. I returned with my family around 8 and they were out of coffee! The manager preferred to talk on the phone to an employee rather than help me check out. We were there due to a funeral and they did not make the experience anymore enjoyable. We were planning to return in two weeks for a visit in KC, but will NOT be returning to this motel. It served its purpose of a place to stay, but definitely not to return to.

Nice workdesk, included wifi and included breakfast made this a perfect one stop on my business travels.

This hotel does not have showers. The spigots with the pull to turn on the shower head has been changed so there is nothing to turn on the shower. The closet was so mildewy that it was unusable. Even not hanging my clothes in it did not prevent my clothes from absorbing the mildewy smell. The high speed internet is only wireless. Good internet is vital for my job. Wireless often is unreliable and not enough bandwidth. Evidence showed that they had removed their fixed internet for wireless, probably for the very reason they could provide one DSL for the entire hotel. Cheaper for them but bad for their guests.

The room was average size, beds were comfortable, towels were a bit shabby but clean. Breakfast was fair, nothing special but it was a start to your day. Restaurants close by and easy access to interstate. Staff always welcomed us back home when we returned to our room which I thought was very nice! I would stay again.

Quality Inn blue Springs is situated conveniently just off I-70 at Mo.7, but actually getting to the Hotel itself off a side road is alittle tricky if you're not familiar with the area. The check in person seemed disinterested and the lobby is unattractive and small. The room wasn't bad; and the chief complaint is the hotel is immediately adjacent to a Denny's which must be open either all night or at least very late. The crowd for it is noisy and it seems to be a late night drunk stop. The breakfast is free but the choices are limited and the coffee is colored water. The day staff was a little friendlier and the actual clientele at the hotel are your tyopical road warriors. The price was right but for even that much or maybe $10 more one could do a lot better in the immediate area.
