Motel 6 Kansas City East Blue Springs

I booked travel for my coworkers who were in town and they wouldn't give them the room I reserved for them. I called to confirm their reservation and even give them the cc # and all the info. to prove I booked their reservation and they wouldn't accept it and turned my workers away at 12:45 am. Horrible customer service. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Go to the Motel 6 a little farther West on I-70 in Independence, MO which is only 5 miles away and they will take care of you and your family/workers, etc. Gave a better rate and took in my workers with a credit card over the phone and were willing to work with me. The motel 6 in Blue Springs is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

guests had fights and loud conversations every night outside my door. the towel rack fell off the wall and was not fixed.

I don't get the bad reviews. My check-in was really simple (I reserved online), the staff was welcoming and friendly, my room was incredibly clean, and the temperature was perfect (it was warm when I arrived, but the a/c worked great). I even got delivery from Domino's and they had no problem finding me. I had thought the wifi would cost an extra $2.99 (per the website), but it was actually free. The parking lot was lit and safe and the neighborhood was completely fine (it's Blue Springs MO, for pete's sakes); the motel is also only about 10 minutes from the Independence Mall. My only beef is that my laptop's cord fell out of 2 of the three plug-ins in the room, but it fit perfectly in the one next to the bed. I paid $34.99 for a room for one night and the room was clean and cool and had free wifi. You can't beat that.

Stayed one night here bc it was very affordable. But as they say u get what u pay for! Room is very small, however the bathroom was very nice. Too bad they didn't put as much softener in their laundry as they had in their water. It was fairly clean. There is no microwave not only in the room but in the entire motel. Worst part was trying to sleep... Could hear the people walking and talking in the room above us all through the night. I didn't expect much, but didn't expect that at all!

I guess you get what you pay for. So I guess I should not complain. I realize I made a choice based on price only. The driveway need paved.the carpet was worn,no water pressure. Don't know why I was expecting and iron and ironing board and a small coffee pot. Would I stay here againa?...........NO. But I ask,are all Motel 6 in poor condition? Now I'm turned off by all Motel 6 hotels.

Not nice,kind of old but very inexpensive and very nice staff. Everything worked ok (tv,shower, heat and air conditioner.)

Easy, straight shot from Kauffman and Arrowhead, and in the opposite direction of most of the traffic. Fairly easy to locate - visible from I-70, but it's not immediately obvious how to get to the road. The room was exactly what I would expect for the price, and not a tiny bit more. The bed wasn't terribly comfortable, but everything looked clean enough, and everything worked. Very loud area. A lot of people hanging around outside, smoking and drinking. Walls not terribly thick - could hear everything, and we were woken up in the morning by folks walking by and cars in the parking lot. It's an inexpensive place to sleep, functional and "good enough".

This hotel you get a bed, and toilet. There is no proper arrangement for bath. There are not other facilities.

Front desk clerk was extremely helpful. [...] messed up on my room reservation ([...] allowed me to book a room online, only to arrive at hotel at 1:00am to be told they had no rooms). Front desk clerk immediately got on the phone to [...] telling them that they knewn the hotel was booked solid and asked why [...] didn't call me about it. She was EXTREMELY helpful to me)

Well for starters there were people that you could obviously tel were living there.They stayed outside by the pool the entire time look around and there children were running around like wild animals.The room was cold as "ice" even after leaving the door open on 90dgr day, the towels were dirty and it was just a mess. P.S. It smelled bad too...
