Cant Stand That Smell
Not Good
I requested a no smoking room, guess what we smelled when we got off the elevator on the 3rd floor? That's right, that dreaded stench of cigarettes. So we went to the room and it stunck twice as bad in there. Called the front desk to inquire and they said, "we see where you "requested" no smoking", so come down to lobby and we will work it out. No such luck there, we were told it was a fisrt come first serve policy, so all the people who requested no smoking miraculously showed up before us and we got stuck with a stench hole room and a can of air freshner. Never again will I use La Stinky La Quinta, $100.00 to smell like a ash tray? No thanks.

Its nice and newer but where's the pool?
While driving we noticed billboards along the highway for this hotel that said indoor pool...we arrive and as I'm looking thru hotel service guide I see hours and rules of using the pool. My kids change into their swim trunks and we go off in search of the pool, walking from one end of the property to the other end, we walk outside thinking its a separate building, we can find NO POOL. We go to the lobby and ask the attendant on duty where is the pool, she says "Oh we've requested one but its not installed yet", I shrug and say huh and walk off, wondering how she could know that because when we checked into the hotel, she wasn't sure how to check us in, her name badge said "trainee", so she knows about their request for a pool but not how to check in people. The bathroom in the 2 bed room is very small, you cant close the bathroom door without walking between the sink and toilet.

Great Rate
Nice clean quiet room at a great rate. Was suprised it included wireless internet, a fridge, and a microwave at such a low rate.

Shop til you drop
Decent for the price you pay
The location was within about 10 miles from all the entertainment and shopping we wanted to do! We did find many bugs (maybe cockroaches or something like that)in the bathroom area, which was our only complaint. If we had children, the bugs would have been more of an issue, but since it was just my husband and I we would just kill them and move on. The bed was comfortable and had nice big room with a good sized flat screen TV. Since we didn't spend much time in the room, it was worth it for us because it was such a good price. Continental breakfast was average, but at least it was available.
