BEST WESTERN PLUS Kelly Inn

This is a good location for the price, at the edge of downtown St. Paul, near the Capitol and the Cathedral, and right off of I-94. My room was clean and comfortable. But the lobby area looked worn, and the breakfast at the Sweetwater Grille, the in-house restaurant, was disappointing. I didn't have any other meals there, so I can't comment beyond that.

Great pools for kids and adults. Otherwise, just average.

We were very happy and satisfied with the Kelly Inn. When you arrived you fetl welcomed and the stay was very pleasant.

The room was frigid cold! I was able to to turn up the blower but every object was chilled and was like being in a refrigerator! The blanket on the bed wasn't nearly enough and we were cold all night. Buffet breakfast was expensive for the quality, and could not compare to others that are usually complimentary.

we were booked online at this hotel and arrived there around 2 am, which I am accustomed to do as we travel after work, and late at night. The manager told us she had given away our rooms despite one family in our group letting her know that we would not arrive until after midnight. she then asked us to stay the night in a LaQuinta hotel four miles away. we had to drive there and were told the room would be smoking room and for one of our four families. The beds were terrible, and we were told that this hotel does this all the time, move people around from the Best Western Plus Kelly to this hotel, we are not the first to experience this. The next day we checked in and took just as long checking in with the front desk. Horrible experience.

Would have liked the opportunity to be more specific about the arrangements(i.e. Not located by the elevator prefer room at the end of the hall). The room was nice but noisy due to location to a vending machine. Restaurant OK. Pool area was very cold, water was cold also.

We stayed at the hotel for six nights. The staff was pleasant. The hotel looks a little worn, but clean. The pool was very nice. The location requires a car because it is right on freeway and nothing within walking distance, The hotel dining room was not very good. From the hotel, you can see the capitol building nearby and St. Paul city skyline.

We came to the Kelly Inn by recommendation. Although the Hotel itself was good; the employees were helpful and kind, the rooms were comfortable and clean, the restaurant was not even close to being something we would have expected for the type of hotel. The manager was in shorts and a tattered shirt, there was one waitress at 11am and we had to get up and find her for coffee refills.

The hotel was located two blocks from our concert. The walking distance made getting to and from it very easy. It had a nice restaurant in the hotel that had a delicious cuban sandwich. Check it out for sure.

I was in town on business traveling throughout the MN area. When I arrived, I used the public restroom in the lobby area. (excuse the details)I literally had to hold my pants up from the floor because the floor grout had tons of little water bugs crawling all over...I had to shake my pants to make sure I didn't pick any up. The staff were barely friendly. I checked in & the guy just gave me my card....didn't explain anything...just said "those are the elevators"...the restaurant was low quality....I was served my drink in a disposible cup. This place definitely does not cater to their guests. Also there was no where to plug in my laptop. I had to disconnect the lamp to plug in my laptop...not to mention...the sockets are VERY old...the plug kept falling out of the socket. If you need somewhere to just lay your head then this is the place for you. Also, the price I paid was high. I could have stayed at the Ramada for an extra $10. Unfortunately it was booked.
